Is anyone else kind of miffed that China is going to be the one to save humanity from its greatest existential crisis (climate change)? It was supposed to be you America but you ballsed it up.
Half of America doesn't even think it's a real thing, that's how pathetic the situation is
Trump knows the Chinese century is inevitable and is forcing America's allies to make the plunge sooner than later. A real forward-thinking president.
Logan Ramirez
If climate change is progressing at the rate some alarmists would presume, then we're fucked either way desu. The only remedy would be abandoning all our modern conveniences and going back to living like cavemen. And not even those hippies would be ready to for that, so why bother?
Kevin Powell
it isn't real
Aiden Harris
There should be a registry of global warming deniers so that when we're no longer able to grow enough food we have already have a list of who not to feed.
Kevin Rivera
These are seriously sub-89IQ responses. Anyway let's pretend climate change isn't happening/ is a lot slower than believed. Shouldn't we make efforts to switch to renewable energies anyway? You don't get to use the same dumb breitbart arguments when the conversation becomes about renewable and non-renewable
Joshua Morris
Why not nuclear
Kayden Torres
trump isnt an eternal president
everyone forgets this
Sebastian Powell
You know green houses? Is basically the same, but on global scale.
It can't be that hard to understand, even for americans.
Joseph James
>It was supposed to be you America America has never done anything good for the world, why would you think they'd start now?
Christopher Diaz
We are switching. It's just a lot of people have spent a lot of money to build coal and oil turbines and a lot of money to dig up the coal and oil. And those people are willing to spend lots of money to ensure that people will continue requiring their coal and oil Problem isn't the people, it's the businesses
>China is going to be the one to save humanity from its greatest existential crisis (climate change)? China is more interested in being less reliant on the Malacca strait chokepoint for 70% of their energy imports and more interested in being self sufficient for energy, something the US is already near to being.
India's doing the same thing, because in the eyes of a rising regional power, the more self sufficient and less reliant on energy imports you are, the better off you are when conflict happens. Neither of them actually give a shit about climate change.
You know there have been also TWO ice ages along with TWO mass extinctions, one of them is suspected to be related with climate change, right?
Colton Price
>China is going to be the one to save humanity from its greatest existential crisis (climate change) What the hell are you smoking? China is one of the world's top polluters and refuses any international attempt to clean up its act.
Tyler Jones
I honestly would have thought you were just pretending to be retarded if you didn't have your dumb graphic on hand
Hudson Thompson
>China and India are only doing it for energy independence >implying the West didn't invent climate change during the oil crisis for the exact same reason
Cooper Watson
>Half of America doesn't even think it's a real thing, that's how pathetic the situation is
You VASTLY underestimate the stupidity of Americans, user.
It's a very different psychological phenomenon. I imagine many countries would be similar.
Kayden Johnson
>Lol, global warming can't affect me I live in america! And even if it becomes a threat we'll just shoot at it.
William Rogers
It has been proven that global warming may actually BENEFIT the world because of all the energy and gas that will be saved since people won't need as much heating as before. It's just that fatties and ice cream factories need to stop using such enormously large cooling systems. Also melting ice may make it possible to extract more oil and other natural resources that are burried deep down and are not reachable now.
Cooper Kelly
Is New Orleans the dark blue bit in Louisiana lmao?
Ian Howard
>>implying the West didn't invent climate change during the oil crisis for the exact same reason The West are the ones who patrol and protect the major world trade routes. Inventing climate change and convincing countries to use clean, renewable energy instead of the oil and fossil fuels they currently control and protect would cause frankly hilarious amounts of political sway to be lost.
Thats kind of the opposite of how a foreign policy works.
Kayden Hernandez
But France, Germany and Britain are all so far behind on cleaning shit up that they're being fined in international court. Sweden is like the only country that painlessly went green and then just moved on.
Aiden Martinez
>climate change I don't care, I will be dead for millions years already.
John Green
It is benefitial for you since russian is a frozen wasteland, not for countries in the south though.
Blake Anderson
Russia*
Tyler Anderson
Norilsk, Russia.
>The lack of trees within ~50km of the city come from the fact that it is the most polluted place in Russia by an order of magnitude (according to the Russian government, sort of). Nearly all of the pollution comes from the nickel smelter, which is actually named "The hope". If you're familiar with Sudbury, the situation is similar (albeit possibly worse) to what the area around Sudbury was like at it's worst.
Why are so afraid? Nuclear fusion is near to become a thing, there are a shit ton of companies investing and creating nuclear fusion plants. Once all the technical difficulties are solved we will be able to have cheap, almost infinite and clean energy.
Landon Adams
There is a lot of free space in north america, both americas will just move a bit north. South europe, Africa and Middle East all move to northern europe. Greenland is huge and will be suitable for living by the time it gets that serious.
Noah Bennett
>South europe, Africa and Middle East all move to northern europe.
yeah, that is exactly what I want to avoid, there is not enough space and the snowniggers would not like it too much.
Gavin Morris
hello european proxy

New Orleans is on the eastern coast of Lousiana.

Is it possible that Russia is actively working towards making the globe warmer? They have a LOT to gain...
What exactly? Even hotter summer? It's hard at +25 with our humidity, +30 which is rare is a potential danger for older citizens.
Austin Cox
>They have a LOT to gain... There is China right next door with it's 1.3 bn population that craves Siberia and all the natural resources hidden there while majority of russians live far away from it and russia also has rapidly aging population and barely has enough healthy young males who are capable of fighting. In a case of extreme danger (like southern chinese regions becoming literally too hot to live in) China would annex eastern russia in a matter of weeks. Why do you think Putin keeps choking on Xi's cock?
Nathaniel Garcia
Also this. Russia has extremely high humidity in many regions. +40 in Spain or Turkey is tolerable, +40 in Russia's Saint-Peterburg could kill you especially if you have some pre-existing heart disease.
Brayden Ramirez
Wouldn't Russia nuke them though? Or at the very least tactically nuke invading forces?
Connor King
China too has nukes. No one would use them.
Elijah Jackson
Nuke their armies in Siberia, if they want nuclear war properly then nuke their cities to oblivion.
