Pronounced "STIN-jee", stingy means to be ungenerous or not willing to spend money (in a bad way). Kind of like "avarento", I guess.

In American English it evokes a sense of being stung by a bumblebee. Like when the court jew denies your permit to spray agent orange over the manlet pit. Stingy.
They always do this. Not just them but KFC as well.
I thought it was stin-gy like pronounced as sting with the "gee" from the word "geek"
