During the past 5 years we have been receiving Venezuelans nonstop. It is estimated that about 2 million, both legal and illegal, have made their way here.

They fled from a socialist government in their country and the fear of ending up in a similar situation here was enough of trigger for the population to vote for a completely opposite economic and government model.

Still the voter turnout was about 19 million people and 8 million out of those voted for the left-wing candidate, which was really popular on social media among students from useless careers such as liberal arts and humanities.

If that trend continues to grow we can expect to have our 1st left-wing president in history in 2022 or 2026. God forbid from that happening though

I'm not too familiarized with the Mexican election but I hope they elect the best candidate
