With the amount of media being produced these days, clearing ones backlog is almost an impossible task. Unless of course one doesn't add to their backlog, but that's no fun.

But it's impossible to revive now in Ireland now. Our time has been and gone. It's hard to revive your culture and language when 100s of thousands of other people are pouring into your country from all over the world. Whatever appetite the Irish have for cultural restoration, good luck trying to convince Cristiano from Brazil, Obongo from Nigeria and Xao from China of the merits of renewing Irish culture. And that's assuming you'd even want them to be part of your revival (I don't). Globalisation destroyed any hope of a revival of Gaelic Ireland.
