there barely are any positions that require japanese skills and most of them require some other special skills like engineering

There are many jobs of interpreter that can not interpret without expertise medical or IT or engineering other than English

I heard that N1 is hard to clear even in Japanese before
So, N1 may not be necessary
Instead, I think that it may be better to give high priority to learn expertise
(medicine, medicine, IT, engineering, etc.)
I think that it is good to ask people who are interpreters to ask what you need to do

Do you mean "even for Japanese"? If so, that can't be true. N1 isn't particularly challenging for someone who's been at it seriously for some years, let alone a native speaker.

Trust me, it doesn't matter if you get a few wrong. The cutoff at which you fail is set very low, so you can get a bunch of stuff wrong and still pass.

but 8-4 is what casually we are using in daily conversation, it would never be wrong.
And for 7, only 2, 3, 4 seem just unnatural but quite unsure to declare to be wrong.

But yeah, similar style obviously, but I personally enjoyed Akagi a lot more. That being said, it might be confusing if you know nothing about mahjong. The first time I watched it, I didn't know anything about it and was occasionally left wondering what the hell was even going on, but overall it was still fairly enjoyable. I've since learned the game and rewatched it a few times, and it's become one of my favorite shows.

sure, some kind of weeb interest is the only real reason most people here started with
I assume it means having the ability to hold an intelligent conversation about complex subjects with native speakers without falling behind, inother words fluency. I would think you could follow along with anime decently with a lower level of understanding but that's just my opinion

Words like 目薬 and 解熱 are annoying because I can tell the meaning by the kanji so I never bother to look them up
Also feels weird adding something so simple as 目薬 to my mining deck now, so I usually just end up thinking "alright I'll just remember the reading for next time" (and then I don't)
