German industry was not as badly damaged as people believe. Even at the end of WWII industrial output was 30% bigger then at the beginning of the war. Rebuilding damaged infrastructure and providing industrial goods for an recovering nation created jobs for decades.

5. Not really. There was almost no fighting on German clay during WWI compared to other countries. WWII was not that bad for Germans as people think. However, it is worth to mention that they lost one of the most civilized and developed lands (Silesia) so respect.

They were still one of the largest economies directly after WWII. It's not like there was a sudden, significant turnaround.

They're not. Audi, BMW and Mercedes have gotten the perfect market segment. Camaros are more of a niche, like the most affordable sports cars. Audis are not sports cars, they're just 'luxury' cars in which luxury means you pay a lot for marginal gains compared to Toyotas.
Nobody thinks of a Camaro as a normal car you drive to work and back every day and your wife will freak out if you get a Camaro as a family car. Meanwhile women pressure their men into selling their beloved mustangs for Audis.
