I failed one of these drug tests(its a safety sensitive job) and had to go to rehab for 8 weeks, follow up meetings(NA/AA)for a year and random observed drug testing no less then 6 times a year for 5 years(I have to strip naked and piss in a cup in front of a speciman collector)lol

Well, my former co-worker got fired for appearing to work drunk. But a drug test wouldn't really prevent that.

I'm pretty sure that's an American thing, over here we have these things called "labour laws" and "workers rights" which mean employers can't do things like randomly make you submit to a drug test.

A pee test for weed is also the norm in 100+ employer companies, a stoner friend of mine used someone else's pee and kept it lukewarm in a little cup in the hood of his car

I work in a pharmacy and I took one drug test (pre-employment). Literally everyone there smokes weed. Even the pharmacist.

Not many jobs make you submit to random drug testing. Most of the time it’s a pre-employment drug test and then after that it’s only under “reasonable suspicion” I.e coming to work and being obviously shitfaced/rolling/spun/baked.
