>having to bus passengers to your aircraft

7 jetways in Venice? I sure hope there are other terminals not pictured.

Look at all those airplanes parked off to the side where you have to take a smelly BUS to board them. I guess Venice smells anyways so it doesn't bother them.

it's a 45k city, it's already huge

You'd think they could use some of that tourist money and the 50% taxes they put on citizens to build a proper airport.

They have already too many tourists.

No argument there. But then they should just restrict the airplanes that land. I wasn't specifically picking on Venice, but now that it is brought up Venice is literally disgusting. It's just bird shit, rats, tourist traps, and bad smells.

Venice is not even in the top 75 most visited place, it's barely considered a city and shitaly is a third world country, do you expect Munich level of infrastructure?

we should all strive for less planes more trains, the plane lobby is fucking disgusting and so are planes

We had last time I checked (Domodedovo last May)

At least we don't have to go through 10 billion layers of security and take our shoes off before boarding.

Damn, Dubai must be poor as hell! And their airport, wow so tiny they still bus passengers to aircrafts!

Dumb mutt

Actually stuff like this saves costs to the point Euros can fly to Barcelona, Milan and Canary Islands for €20-30
You can pay KLM €300 so you get to walk directly out of the plane though

>cherrypicking examples
in euroland a lot more boardings are by bus

I find in travel you pay more for being around less disgusting people than you pay for amenities. You fly first class on short trips not because economy isn't probably fine if you aren't sleeping, but because you don't want to sit next to smelly fat people. This is especially true in europe where non overwater flights definition of business class is just taking couch seats and blocking the center seat. It keeps you from having to be near some smelly paki or whatever else is in paris de gaulle.

All airports in the US as smaller than most of the big EU airports. We just have loads more traffic here. Jetways take too much space so you cannot have a Jetway for every single flight.

300 is for economy, you moron

We don't have smelly fat people

americans have small benic and that's why they need dark tubes to walk to plains and hide their small maggers :DDDD

nigga I can't take a train if I wanna come visit you

No shit.

not yet

No. You fly "first class" aka business class because of the flexibility and/or you have an intercontinental connecting flight in biz

>mutt education

First class isn't business class. Most international flights just have business now, but I flew Air France first last week which was above business.

You are right about the flexibility. I flew Miami to Paris, they picked me up in a car at the gate and drove me to the first class lounge, took my passport and stamped it while I had some lunch cooked for me, then came and got me and walked me to my connecting flight. It's not required but is helpful.

Usually I just fly business class though, even Alitalia is okay for that now. Virgin Atlantic is shit though, they have those weird seats where you end up looking at the people across from you the whole flight (pic related).

how does this work will my sweaty feet be on the other persons legs??

>You fly first class on short trips
I replied to that. Intra-european we only have business class, but from my understanding it is called first in America?

Other than that, AF first sounds absolutely amazing. Are you traveling for work?

it's because they love walking, not like americans

Ah okay. Yes, America has what I call "domestic first class" and then "international first class". Domestic first class is for inter-state trips. They have actual bigger seats, but aren't lay flat or anything fancy. You get a meal, alcohol. But since America is so big the trips can be longer though. For example I'd rather fly business class to Miami - London (~8 hours) than fly (domestic) first class Miami - LA (~6 hours) simply because the seats in international business class are better than domestic first class and you can sleep flat on night flights.

>Other than that, AF first sounds absolutely amazing. Are you traveling for work?
Yeah for work. Air France Le Premiere is very nice. There are some other airlines that have nicer, even completely private, cabins such as Emirates. Air France the food and wine is very good. I'm a bit of a sucker for French chic too as an uncultured burger. I love their uniforms and how tasteful everything is.

You've never been to Europe though

>You fly first class on short trips
Dump americunt school kid

There is not First class on short trips

Nigga, you talk about short trips
There is no First class on short trips

Why are dumb cunts not banned on 4ch?

Not that user, but I'm in Europe, generally speaking, there are a lot more boardings via Terminal Bus than in the United States. Depends on the country.

In the United States there is. Domestic first class in the US is basically Business Class in short trips of Europe but with burger sized seats rather than just blocking the center seat.

While Business is 3 to 5 times as expensive than economy, The True First Class is over the top.

I don't see why I should pay that much more for a short trip (5x eco). As far as longer trips are concerned, I kill time flirting with flight attendants (girls)

What work do you if you don't mind me asking? Does your company pay for first class or do you upgrade with points/money?

I've never tried intercontinental business class and it's unlikely I ever will. I use my points for domestic travel and there's no travel in my line of work.

Trans-Atlantic railway when.

Nobody even wants you here smelly nigger

I bet even top 1% of American population can not afford jet-ways either.

The cost depends but yeah it's questionable how worthwhile it is. Depends how big of a deal that money is to you. I think for me since I'm traveling international and often going to meetings in strange places the additional service and access to lounges is a driver for me.

I work in acquisitions for a group that has a lot of real estate holdings. So I fly around and basically look at properties. They'll fly me business anywhere, really long trips they'll pay for first (like Asia trips). I'll sometimes upgrade from business to first on US - Europe flights using points, although that is hit or miss now because there are so few first class seats. Lufthansa has like 8 seats in first class total on their A380.

Pretty sweet gig

Overall yeah, but I'm currently jetlagged with a sore throat.
