Back in like '98 I took an overnight train from Paris to Madrid that was pretty cool.

In my city, yes, they are good. But the ones who come from the countryside are those 1960's ones, really shitty.

Inter-European rail development is really slow though. In the last 20 years all we got is a train to Paris and now it’s extended to London.
They are talking about some grand European train network for decades now but all we got is RyanAir

We used to have shit slow and dirty state run trains because they knew they can get away with it since there is no competition. But then free market came and made trains a lot better.

Recently a top kike german compamy came here (Arriva) and their plan is to run trains with ridiculously low cost tickets. That will of course bring them no profit, but local branch will be subsidised by profits from other countries. The goal is to destroy local competition who will be unable to outmarch such cheap tickets. When competition is destroyed, they will be running monopoly and will bumb up the costs as much as they want

Suddenly she said that its maybe platform 4 but she didnt kmow fo sho. Literally 1 min before departure i jumped in the train. Really only blemish om otherwise pleasant visit
