My advice is just focusing on the things you really like. Money gives freedom but like would you really wan't to be someones pet in the west. Here people have really racist attitudes towards slavs.
Better being a russian in russia than a russian in norway even if you make a little more money.

Yeah then you are just a dreamer. The world is a huge glob of shit. Its just marginally better elsewhere. Its not like an employer gives a shit about workers anywhere in the world. The laws are just a bit different.

engineering turned IT student due to stupid life choices and weak family finances. Dropped out of uni once, fucked around in community college and switched to another one after barely making it at my old one. Realized I still had 3 more years of school despite 2 years of core math and humanities for an associates transfer, said fuck it and made the switch. family would never forgive me taking that tuition money from my siblings upcoming college entrance, so now i am the family disappointment studying IT to piss off and start a career sooner rather than later. this is surprsingly common for lots of american students in the education pipeline.
Neither are fur coat warehouses, my man.
Sad part is, such stuff happens quite often.
I know quite a few Russians with university diplomas that work the lowest crap jobs (cleaning lady, parcel driver etc.) here. Kinda sad. Degrading themself just to earn a little more... I can't imagine these few € more really make you happy with such a life.
My advice to you if you really wan't to do this is the following.
Start at a good international company in construction in belarus. Bite your way through a period of 1-2years of shitty salary really putting yourself into learning about methods and getting better+certificates, then move to poland and work for 1years or so and start applying to agencies which send people to norway.
Ofcourse you won't get a janitor job those are really nice and well paid. You can get a construction job. Start at a company and you will be making about 17-18euros per hour before tax at start. Show them that you are really the person they want and after a while (6+ months) you have possibilities of getting work for 20-22euros per hour. All after that is up to you.
Its a long road and the work is shitty.
Parcel driver is pretty laid back job. Hard to see it being degrading.

Maybe in a cunt like Funland...
Here it is probably the worst job you can get as a male. They are really, really bad paid (often below minimum wage), get a shitload of pressure, work a lot (often unpaid) overtime and their job is literally to carry boxes around. (and dicks like myself, living in the 5th floor without an elevator order heavy car parts and what not quite often)
Plus this:
It is not really degrading as cleaning toilets or what ever, but a really, really shitty job wich must suck to have with an university diploma.

In the nordics the parcel drivers just write on paper that the recipient was not home when they have to walk more than 2meters to deliver. Then you have to get the parcel from the post office. This happens all the time even if you are at home. Its industry standard by now. So only idiots pay for home delivery now.
Could you explain me about American colleges? In Russia there are school >> either college or university. Who can't pass university's exams go to college, who can and whom parents give support goes to university. After college middle professional education, after university higher professional education. Is it the same in America? Russian system was copied from America, but usually college is shameful place for stupid scum. But American colleges very fasionable and popular. Why?
Librarians in Finland have masters but they make less money than parcel drivers. Timber haulers get paid about 60keur per year more than most MBAs.
But it's just driving around in a van.

Here they really get a lot of pressure which sucks for them, but at least they do their job.
A few years back one tried that with me too. Rang the bell, I answered, opend the house door for him and was waiting in front of my flat but just found a note later that I was not home. Was pretty pissed and wrote a letter to DHL. Never happend again.
>But it's just driving around in a van.
Maybe in rural areas. In the cities I would imagine driving is like 10% of your job. The rest is carrying boxes and climbing stairs. For 10 hours a day and maybe 5€ / hour.
How the fuck some people ITT earn more than 2000€ a month doing shitty jobs?
That's just how it works in Scandinavia or you're lying?
Hey, stop. Yesterday with guys we was talking about European unemployment benefits. How much is it? About 800 euro per month in Spain?
We use the words interchangeably. College and uni are the same, 4 year undergrad and graduate research institutions. community college is like a combined vocational school along with traditional subjects, but 2 year diplomas that we call "associates" are given. typicaly these are used to transfer to 4 year programs at real universities, but the vocational degrees are otherwise a formality to tell employers u are qualified. we also have separate vocational schools exclusively for plumbing, welding, electrician work and aviation/auto maintenace/mechanics. most however get vocational careers through labor unions who sponsor apprentices. a fucking mess of options really.
>Carrying around boxes
Oh the horror. How is it even better to being fucked by an female boss in an office job doing 14 hour days with marginally better pay?
>5 euro/h
With German unions, I really doubt that.
It balances out with cost of life in those countries.
1000 euros in Eastern Europe != 1000 euros in Western Europe

It is not, if you do it for some time. I myself worked as a part time job for a parcel company in a hub putting boxes from one truck into another which was ok because I knew I go home after 5 hours and a few years laters I had my diploma and worked a real job. Imagine doing that all your life...
>With German unions, I really doubt that.
Minimum wage is 8,84€ and they do not get more than that since it is as I said the worst male job. Also that is per hour. They do not get paid per hour, but per delivery. Of course it is very tightly calculated so they pretty much never can get the full 8,84 (which is bad enough). In my job I earned 6,14€ btw. That was before the minimum wage and a few years back, tho.
