Anyone else here lives in shared housing?
I live with my brother and 2 other students. It's really starting to piss me off to the point I am moving out now.
They eat everything I buy because "oh I didn't know it was yours, I thought I bought it myself despite never doing any groceries that I'm not going to eat within half an hour" and in general completely rely on me to fix all our problems.
None of them even really attends school and at best they work 1 day per week, but for some reason never can find any room to do chores. All they do is sit around on student welfare playing videogames.

If there is anything I hate then it's loud music. Glad I moved out, I now live alone and I enjoy it more.

The difference is that none of these people have a real social life or anything. It's their lazyness and passivism that bothers me so much. I really cannot deal with how they seem to think it's okay to constantly steal stuff and wait for me to buy items like toilet paper and coffee beans while having excuses like "didn't know it was my turn" "didn't know it was yours" as if you can forget whether or not you bought something.
It's next to impossible to live on your own before age 23 over here.

Unplug the router and tell them that everyone will get their internet connection back if you all made some agreements on schedules for doing household chores...

The router is in the room of a gamer who threw a gigantic tantrum over the fact we didn't want to pay for his secret upgrade from 200 to 400 mbps. He quite literally guards the thing and doesn't allow people to reset it when wifi is down until he has finished his gaming session.

Of course. Every time over and over. And not even in a passive-agressive manner. Just flat out telling them what bothers me and what they should change.

If you're moving out I suppose it's a done deal, but try writing your name clearly with a permanent marker on things.
It's going a bit far but appropriate for the situation I suppose.

This. I also have a small 30m2 apartement but it's far better than sharing the place with someone else.

Yes what do you think I asked him? Hell we had the same argument over 200mbps. Our internet was lightning fast. I downloaded movies in 20 seconds. But during those 20 seconds, his videogames were lagging.

you may want to slim down a bit in terms of furniture. I did the same to avoid a too crowded apartement and moved some stuff back to my parents.

I hope you make it clear that a big part of the reason youre moving out is because they're selfish roommates. Don't just leave as you say that, you can still like them as people but make it clear they need to pick up their roommate game.
