to be blunt, all ages, but certainly the older generation are much louder than the younger ones. asian tourists do a lot of bus tours here, bc its such a large country, so its not uncommon to see these large groups moving about, and they can get pretty rowdy. old men are by far the worst, but some young women can be just as bad.

when they're just out and about its not too bad, like I said, you guys got nothing on chinese tourists. but then when it comes to dinning or drinking? then koreans get really loud.

In Korea, the most important way to check people's friendship is to eat together. Maybe it's because of such a culture. I can put up with some noise, but I hate people who make too much noise.

I had met with some koreans back when I was living in China, to be honest they are people that get easily angry. women are direct and a bit rude instead japanese women are sweet.

In Germany, Koreans have the reputation of being very disciplined, both at school and at work, saving their values and traditions into the 21st century, competing with German car manufacturers, and having a critical mass of shipyards.
Of course we have a similar fate, even if our division is now a generation ago. But we understand their situation, even if the GDR was downright reasonable compared to North Korea.
I met some Koreans at university, they were all friendly, but a little shy. I don't know if it was her nature, but in general I had the impression that students from East Asia always felt a little uncomfortable here.
I also respect the enthusiasm of Koreans for classical German music.
I wouldn't know there's anything negative about Koreans here.

Not trying to be mean but I'd say that Korea was historically China's underling or brother when Korea was strong (like Ming dynasty China), economically quite good nowadays but controlled by some families, politically messed up with presidents getting caught right after they resign

as a kid I grew up on the US island territory of Guam and was surprised there are several Koreans living there. One of my best friends growing up was Seung-Jin who liked comics. My second heavy crush was on a Korean girl whom I thought was very pretty. She went to a private school after the school year but I never stopped thinking about her :(

Now that I live on the mainland there are hardly any Koreans where I live until I finally moved to southern CA. I enjoy their company and like that they honor family tradition.

There are no koreans anywhere near me, but I watched Gee in 2010 and became a full k-pop retard by 2012. Almost all k-dramas are unwatchable but there is a good one every five years (Secret Garden, Coffee Prince). When I buy electronics/appliances I now have a soft spot for LG & Samsung. I've never tried Cass or Kloud but Hite is honestly pretty good. That's it, I think.
