Having a operational phone line is super expensive here nowadays. Its almoust 15 years since I made a phone call from fixed phoneline.

It's just one of those modem routers on coaxial cable, with the socket for a home phone line. Also with the ethernet port that goes into the wi-fi router.

The sad thing is that this is one of the better-valued packages that I've been able to find in my area. A similar package from one of the big two providers is equivalent to about $75 USD before taxes and additional fees if you don't get a bundle or contract to go with it.
