If you don't like the heat after that long winter we had the gtfo to iceland or some shit. You are literally not Irish if you don't enjoy the summer heat waves.
Rate my breakfast? Yeah it's way better than your shit breakfast. I bet you're eating your fuckin wheetabix with milk heated in the microwave and a load of sugar because your clinging to your misery winter rain and coldnesses. Grow up would you? Either that or you're eating ricicles or some shit hahaha.
Anybody who complains about having nice weather should be shot imo.

Leave your room for once in your life and actually enjoy life and nature.

I've played 15 minutes of civ V. This is annoying. The tutorials are vague and it's isn't easy to pick up. Don't know why you rave on about it in here
Refunding desu.

Read a guide or watch a tutorial. Millions of people play it and don't struggle with it desu.

Too boring sorry

> it's +32
i'm taking cold showers every few hours. i wish i was in some comfy irish village with deep and cold cellar for storing potatoes

What a waste of water. If you weren't obese maybe you wouldn't be sweating profusely while inactive and only sitting indoors. I bet you smell disgusting.

Underground potato cellars aren't a thing here either.

Are we finally seeing some sense? Housing crisis was caused by so few houses being built in the recession period too due to the collapse of the construction sector, not immigrants.

>Are we finally seeing some sense?
Must be the thoughts of certain segments of society to the changes that have been happening in the last couple of years.
Tall buildings, abortion, weed, gay marriage. All we are missing now is for the dismantling of RTÉ and the TV license fee and everyone in the journal's comments section is sure to cream themselves.

Both good posts.

If you're just starting out it's best to let the game play itself for a while and eventually you'll start to grasp it. It's not a complicated game in the end but I suppose it does throw a lot of things in the face of a new player.

I don't think the proliferation of the population in the Greater Dublin Area and the lack of sense in the persistence that Dublin's skyline is in anyway important or sensible is comparable to those social issues you mentioned.

>people complaining about Civ V being complex when EU4 exists

Lady on the radio today saying how that article in the constitution saying women should stay home and look after the children is negatively creating some sort sexist culture.
I mean I think it is more a societal issue, and plenty of people aren't even aware such an article exists, but I don't think their no need to get so zealous over it, despite the fact I don't disagree with proposals that is should be removed.

They didn't seem to pleased either when Brendan O'Connor suggested that maybe one parent should stay at home and mind children instead of the culture of two people going out working. Seemed to be suggesting that that would mean women would be forced to stay at home, and that he was a bit sexist for suggesting it, despite the face he said it could be either parent.

The link to theJournal simply reminded me of the issues with Ireland people on there frequently used to raise, height limits being one of them.
Think someone should put together one of those bingo cards of commonly used terms, would be quite amusing.
Anyways, you point is valid, I wasn't trying to detract from it, simply messing around.

>being bothered by some heat
Expected better.

There should be government mandated childcare so both parents can work, and all male parental leave on par with women's.

That way all women would be able to work, benefitting the economy, and women would feel more capable of having more kids, so our native population demographic increases.

It'd also equalize the gender pay gap

Women love the state too much.

How do you think Arlene will enjoy the match? Is this her first time attending a GAA game?

I prefer the idea of a larger pool of parental leave that parents can share at their own discretion.

Pick one.

You would too if it bent over backwards to accommodate your every whim and grievance.

Yes that was my idea in saying that

>>equalising something that doesn't exist
There's no denying that when women entered the workforce our birthrate declined, like the same in every developed Western country

I was referring tow hat you said about the "gender pay gap".

I didn't know we were drafting legislation on this.

Why do so many people want the government to cover for their irresponsible actions?

>How do you think Arlene will enjoy the match? Is this her first time attending a GAA game?
They mentioned her there on BBC and my Dad changed it immediately to Joe Brolly being a wally on RTÉ

It's Ulster football so it'll be shite and it'll forever detract from her desire for tolerating a united Ireland

Attached: 1520738521037.jpg (1280x720, 61K)

Because they're devoid of personal responsibility. It's an alien concept to them.

>It's Ulster football so it'll be shite and it'll forever detract from her desire for tolerating a united Ireland
Oh fuck, you're right.

Speaking of football, how was the Mayo-Tipp game yesterday? I didn't get a chance to see it.

That Fermanager is spitting a lot of water.

>it'll be shite and it'll forever detract from her desire for tolerating a united Ireland
>the Donegal team receives a threat at half time to throw the match

Attached: 1497813369772.jpg (850x850, 359K)

It's undeniable though that the gender pay gap is linked to the discrepancy between how long women take off from work for childcare than men. Or else why would they earn more on average than men in the years they don't typically have kids anymore (18-29)?

You don't have to believe in it, but I think it's pretty obvious that the above's the case and it's backed up by income statistics

Good post!

>That Fermanager is spitting a lot of water.
Noticed that, bit quare.

Attached: 1498447833012.jpg (800x1131, 577K)

Your Dad watches the BBC?

When most people mention the "gender pay gap", they're usually referring to women getting paid less than men for the exact same role (which is what doesn't exist).

Would you like people who held a grudge against you posting naked images of you that you sent in private to an individual and not for the purposes of wide scale distribution?

It's the distribution of porn for the purposes of revenge, to punish people, so I don't see the issue with it criminalizing it legally since it's morally wrong.

Attached: 1630672650050.jpg (500x500, 170K)

>Would you like people who held a grudge against you posting naked images of you that you sent in private to an individual and not for the purposes of wide scale distribution?
Don't send naked pictures of yourself to people. Problems solved.

How about not sending naked images in the first place?

Yes, what's wrong with that? It's a better public service provider than RTÉ anyway

>(which is what doesn't exist).
Numerous organizations, such as RTÉ, have published statistics showing that they do, and it's usually down to women taking more time off work for childcare, since most contracts seem to work on an increasing time scale (though I could be wrong on that?)

What if a your significant other takes a picture of you and then you break up?

Attached: 1524817147094.png (805x1610, 1.18M)

>Numerous organizations, such as RTÉ, have published statistics showing that they do, and it's usually down to women taking more time off work for childcare, since most contracts seem to work on an increasing time scale (though I could be wrong on that?)
Did you even read what I said? Show me a single position in RTÉ where woman gets paid less per hour for working the exact same role.

Don't let your significant other take pictures of you naked. You may be noticing a pattern here.

>wanting naked pictures of another Irish person
Why?

Attached: 1525541533788.png (404x404, 118K)

People certainly shouldn't, and it's their own fault when supplying media to anyone else, but when they do why should they be demeaned just because someone holds a grudge against them? It's clearly not fair to have sensitive and violating images of them uploaded for all to see. It's denigrating.

>and it's usually down to women taking more time off work for childcare
And women being valued less than men

independent.ie/entertainment/television/revealed-the-pay-gap-between-rtes-bestknown-newscasters-35958015.html

Yes I read what you said, and responded accordingly! :)

>People certainly shouldn't, and it's their own fault when supplying media to anyone else
Case closed.

>Don't let your significant other take pictures of you naked
Don't see that working out. Don't agree with "revenge porn", from what I understand of it, so I'm fine with criminalising it. Not like it is going to affect me in anyway, or likely anyone here.

>Why?
Don't have a foreigner fetish.

Attached: 1501224123919.jpg (1249x2000, 1.3M)

But Dobson is older and has years more experience. Most organisations have pay-scales based on tenure at the firm. I'm not seeing the problem.

So you'd be all right with naked images of you uploaded for all to see just because someone wanted to punish you?

Personally I don't think people should be allowed to post photos of another person without their consent regardless of how many clothes they're wearing. Is it not already some EU data regulation that you can force Facebook or other sites to take down pictures of you if you so wish? This is really just an extension of that.

>Don't see that working out
I don't understand this obsession in modern society with making personal responsibility a thing of the past.

I wouldn't let the photos be taken in the first place.

>Most organisations have pay-scales based on tenure at the firm. I'm not seeing the problem.
Like I said, it's linked to women taking more time off to care for children

>I wouldn't let the photos be taken in the first place.
Yeah but I'm asking if you did and you keep skirting the question which tells me all I need to know about how you really feel

That's their choice. Nobody forces them to have children.

>Yeah but I'm asking if you did and you keep skirting the question which tells me all I need to know about how you really feel
You're asking me to but myself in a situation that I would take active steps to avoid in the first place. The only way I would end up in that situation is by being stupid, which I like to think I'm not.

> Is it not already some EU data regulation that you can force Facebook or other sites to take down pictures of you if you so wish?
I think it might be, but if the "fappening" on /b/ thought us anything it's that the actual taker of the image owns the copyright

>but if the "fappening" on /b/ thought us anything it's that the actual taker of the image owns the copyright
That makes sense from a legal perspective.

Nope, but nobody forces men to care for their children either, the obligation is entirely on women

Yes, it's obviously hypothetical, but you keep avoiding the implications of it so it's obvious what you really think

>Nope, but nobody forces men to care for their children either, the obligation is entirely on women
I really don't see how that's relevant to what I said. Having a child is a choice.

>making personal responsibility a thing of the past
I'm not sure revenge porn fits into that category. Sex leading to a pregnancy ok, but I don't equate this as being the same.
Regardless of whether it does or doesn't, only a cunt would distribute lewd images of someone without their permission, so fuck them.

Attached: 1498636821469.jpg (848x1200, 116K)

>I wouldn't let the photos be taken in the first place
So if a man takes a picture of his unclothed gf while she's asleep without her knowledge or consent, then posts that picture online after they break up, it's her fault for not being fully clothed at all times?

That was a cute doggy.

>but you keep avoiding the implications of it so it's obvious what you really think
What do I think then? Because if it's that I think people should be more careful about sending naked pictures of themselves to others, then you'd be right. Of course the person who uploads the images is in the wrong too, but I think the fact that revenge porn is an issue at all is indicative of people not exercising enough caution and not believing in personal responsibility.

Obviously that's different because the photos were non-consensual. But would I be wrong in saying that the vast majority of images and videos used seen in the context of revenge porn were taken consensually?

>That was a cute doggy
Fuck, did I miss a cute doggo on the pitch?!

Attached: 1507875132481.jpg (1920x1080, 828K)

>Don't have a foreigner fetish.
But there's a reason Irish people should be fully clothed at all times.

I guess it's not relevant to what you said and we're going around in circles but if you can't acknowledge the obvious societal pressure on women, and the lack of it on men, to refrain from work, and the impact that has on the less pay women receive (if we've already established wage increases are based on tenure) then I think you're just being disingenuous

Do you want to see pictures of my doggo? People have come up to me unprompted and told me he's gorgeous

>I think the fact that revenge porn is an issue at all is indicative of people not exercising enough caution and not believing in personal responsibility
You could say the same for people who get pickpocketed for not keeping their wallet in a more secure place. People should take care if they don't want it to happen to them but that doesn't mean the perpetrator of the offence shouldn't be punished.

By saying this you've raised my expectations very high. If this isn't the best damn dog I've ever seen then I'll be sorely disappointed.

>taking pictures of yourself in the nude
The height of vanity.

Ye. He ran into the Donegal goal (Donegoal?) for a bit. They were lucky it wasn't during play.

>but if you can't acknowledge the obvious societal pressure on women
I thought strong, powerful women don't bend to societal pressures?

Desu I think people who take tons pictures of themselves fully clothed to put on social media are more vain than people who take pictures of themselves naked to send to their partner.

How?

One is someone who wants everyone to see them, the other is someone who wants only one person to see them.

Thicks. Fucking thicks.

But taking naked pictures of yourself to send to another implies that you consider your body to be sexually titillating, which strikes me as particularly vain.

*thicc

Attached: 1498992339384.jpg (639x528, 62K)

could easily impregnate every female in this thread

So 0 females?

What's the aim here exactly? I mean one couldn't possibly be suggesting breeding with a foreigner and ruining our nation's Gaelic blood stock, right?
So what's the use in complaining and saying "girls from X country are so much better"?

One would assume.

Attached: 1521159998067.png (850x850, 307K)

If that's what it takes then yes

Posting dozens of pictures of yourself on facebook implies that you think anyone cares what jeans you're wearing. If you're already going out with someone then you would imagine that person considers you sexually attractive.

This is dogger

I don't like him, he's hyperactive and annoying and won't let me kiss him or hug him unless he's tired and I don't even own him but have to walk him everyday despite finding it difficult

He's a stupid cunt that actively tries to be run over and last time I brought him inside he pissed on my Dad's bookshelf and that was during the snow storm and I even was nice to him at the time and gave him loads of warm people food

Still haven't replaced the book he destroyed with his piss

>What's the aim here exactly?
Fully clothed sex with the lights out for the sole purpose of procreation.

>taking naked pictures of yourself to send to another implies that you consider your body to be sexually titillating, which strikes me as particularly vain
What am I reading?

Attached: 1510437743739.jpg (460x564, 21K)

Is what I said not true?

>Fully clothed sex
But how do you get the bits in if you can't access the yoke? Or are those parts the only ones exposed, or perhaps you use some sort of tube to connect them so nobody sees anything?
>with the lights out
Is that why people end up having sex all night, because they spend the whole night search for where to put the thing in the dark?
I mean it only takes five minutes otherwise, right...?

Attached: 1513934957113.png (1334x750, 956K)

I don't think I'd call him gorgeous but your taking care of him is admirable despite your differences.

>Is what I said not true?
I don't make a habit of considering what I read on most corners of the internet to be true.

Attached: 1509400381291.jpg (522x448, 53K)

>Or are those parts the only ones exposed
This.
>Is that why people end up having sex all night, because they spend the whole night search for where to put the thing in the dark?
I can only assume so. This is what people mean when they say that porn is unrealistic.

Imagine having enough children to make a GAA team.

Reminds me of some Hasidic Jewish tradition where the man and wife would have a thick wool blanket separating them with a hole cut around the waist.
