I wouldn’t judge, I just recently stopped wearing digital watches and got myself a used citizens eco watch off eBay. To each his own, I wanted to have a watch that seemed more alive, but digital watches are more hassle free to me.

i use one because the shitty rubber strap broke. also with nato strap, if one spring bar holding the strap fails (happened few times to me), the watch is still attached to your arm, it just flops around. you don't lose the watch.

Pretty much, the 3133 caliber is around +-10s/ day accurate. Very good for an 80s watch.

as a kid I had a few of the watches posted in this thread, but they all tended to stop after a couple of days so I completely gave up on watches

Yeah he Sturmanskie military chronographs are getting rarer and more expensive every year, there has been a modern reissue for around 700€ but they are not as interesting as modern soviet ones. I got mine on an auction for just 150€ which is a steal.
I had a Komandirskie like on your pic before but I prefer Vostok Amphibias personally.

Nice Casio. I don’t think there’s nothing wrong with owning an expensive watch if you really appreciate the mechanics behind the movement and craftsmanship of the finishing. It’s an acquired taste.
