I can agree on that, the issue with Luther is that with sola scriptura he went beyond the idea of fixing a broken institution, his ideas essentially destroy the idea of having an institution in the first place when put into practice to the core. Traditions like the Islamic one, to name one relatively close to Christianity, certainly put weight on the Quran as the utmost important book of said tradition for every follower of it, from the highest Imam to the commoner, but nevertheless the authority of the Imams as the primary interpreters of said religious text and transmission of the proper interpretation is not contested, reason why Islam, even if a bit younger than christianity, is much less fragmented.
