What's the fucking matter with IT workers? I have 2 friends who are about to graduate from CS. For the last 3 years they have been doing nothing but bragging about how great the job market is, how many people message them on linkedin, how much money they're gonna pull, etc.
And now it's time to get a job, one of them took a 40 hour contract for 2K per month, a wage that is maybe ok for a supermarket employee. The other guy too is about to sign something for just above minimum wage at the place he did an internship because 'he likes them'.

Of course you have to be assertive to get something if you want it. But a degree in IT means jack shit without years of experience. Somebody with a useless Bachelor's like art will get paid 1.8k-2k for doing an it traineeship. Someone with an IT related degree will get about 2.2k-2.5k starting, it's probably more in bigger cities.
