no, but money is the one thing that enables everything else to possibly matter. If you're stuck on money troubles and wageslaving to get by, pretty much nothing else in your life is going to go anywhere fast.
Money doesn't make your life awesome, but it gives you the time and space to start figuring out how to make it awesome.

It's a tough question- I don't like wanting money, I don't like putting aside things I need to do so i can go out and get money, I don't like how the underlying tone of every person I interact with is founded on money and them either trying to take it from me or using me to obtain more of it.
Despite all of that, no matter what I do, whether it's sitting under the stars, exploring an American BLM region, playing games, hosting events, visiting friends, trading/mining stupid coins, or simply going for a walk: money is the foundation for all of those things and all of those things matter to me. So if all of those things matter to me and I need money to do ANY of those things, does that mean money is all that matters if I can't DO any of those things without it?

Yes. Anybody saying no is in a bubble created due to an abundance or security of their money. Take that away and they'll snap back to reality.
