I loike it
Useful word innit
American expressions like "dude", "nigga", "bro" have become too mainstream, so we're all turning to British English.
I don't say lad though, I say mate.
I don't think that's because those are mainstream, rather they are simply disgusting. Lad, mate and cunt are the Jow Forumsellectual man choice.
>Frenchoids calling each other nigga
Wtf
Personally I don't use it, and rarely see let alone hear it used by finns. However I have noticed a shift in finnish youths from desiring a strong american(or californian) accent to wanting a more british sounding accent
Because Britons keep using it on social media shit like Ladbible so at one point it’s no longer your secret treehouse word
We used to say négro not too long ago
All my friends have been saying lad since like elementary school. I don't think 'lad' is uniquely British.
Lol no its fucking cringe even when an actual brit uses them
If you are not an anglo and say mate, lad etc then you should really just off yourself faggot
this but unironically
please don't make anglo slang mainstream TT_TT
>ladbible
stgusting
i cannot conceive of how silly an american elementary schooler saying lad would sound
Literally nobody uses it outside of Jow Forums though
>ever talking to people outside of Jow Forums
I say “la”. But only to my girlfriend and family. I fear I would be judged if I said it among other Americans
>not talking like a Scot
Pal...
It's better than "dude" and "bro"
Shhh don’t tell them about the superiority of pal posting
>pal is scottish
why do jock try to claim every lal morsel of slang for themsel
we call chavs 'lads'
oi me n da laddies
It's always been used here because we're anglo but its definitely made a comeback in the last few years
Did ya bring da cerds?
