That's the reason I like it. French is imposible to learn for me and Spanish is the easiest language to learn. I understand a lot of Spanish after 3 years of high school despite during those 3 years I've never touched the book. For English it took 9 years to get profficient enough to emigrate to UK.

Poland. I moved to England in 2012 and I'm at uni since 2015. Mostly hanging out with britbongs because Poles are so retarded after 2 weeks all you can talk with them is the offer of local Polish shops, otherwise that's a shitstorm material worse than Jow Forums vs tumblr. I haven't left the country to spend time with same type of people I ran away from. Going back to languages, I speak Russian learned completely out of personal interest. Polish and English are languages I'm fluent in, my Russian is limited but sufficient for most uses. I understand all Slavic languages aside for Slovenian which is a total fookin mystery to me. Slovakian and Ukraninian are the easiest to understand. Spanish is something I understand even though through 3 years of sixth form I've never touched the book and I was in the advanced group only because my crush was there. And because being in advanced group meant I had to come to school at 10.30 not 8.00, which was a massive difference for me as a commuter.
I'm looking for a new language to learn, I love Persian and it seems useful in my town as there are some Afghanis in here, but arabic script is too much pain to learn and AFAIK Tajiki is too different to communicate with them. It uses cyrillic so it sounds learnable for me. Maybe I should get closer with my Iranian mates.

English is a pretty neutral language in my opinion. I don't have any strong opinions about the language, but some accents make me want to kill something and others sound funny or comfy.

Not a buitenlander. I love the country, but I think our language is shit. Hearing Dutch music makes me realize how shit it sounds and the shitty dialect which is spoken in my village corrupts the language even more. I sometimes wish it was closer to German.

Spend some time in Israel or in a synagogue and your tune will change. I would be happy if I never hear that language again.

And Dutch is a close second.
