Hello Török bro

Yes. I don’t get why they’re not first-world though. I guess it’s just corruption.

IMO they should have improved more by now, since the end of the USSR. But I guess a lot of people emigrate westward.

Last hope of white race

>why they’re not first-world

Because first world means "NATO-aligned during the cold war", you dumb mutt.
They will always be second world countries.

>IMO they should have improved more by now

Poland has been the third fastest growing country in the world (excluding microstates and tax havens) since 1990, the only relevant countries that grew more than us were China and Vietnam. Do you really think we should grow faster than China?

Vietnam > Poland
Ha-ha

Roosia is not even on the list

Thanks god we are not in the list with China, Vietnam and P*land

And it's still an irrelevant shithole.

thats actually impressive

notice that is to 2007 and only in nominal values (those were times when zloty was strong) for 2018 i think the stats would look different.

sciencemag.org/news/2017/08/greeks-really-do-have-near-mythical-origins-ancient-dna-reveals

europeans are mixed
except Greeks
they are pure

They seem to be pretty much Western, or heavily Westernised. They largely fall in line with Catholicism or Protestantism at least.

The Czechs seem to be some of the most "solidly" Western of the Slavs to my mind. Maybe as I associate them more with the Holy Roman Empire. They're apparently not far apart from Germans in terms of genetics, either.

I know the Hungarians were solidly part of Western Christendom and involved in the Order of the Dragon, against the Ottomans. The Baltics came under the control of the Teutonic Knights, from what I recall. Poland has come under various divisions at certain points. Austria seems to have had influence in surrounding areas.

Overall they seem to represent the more eastern frontier of the Western cultural field, with Finland in the north. Ukraine and Belarus seem to have more in common with Russia culturally, despite their political independence. The more southeastern areas of Europe bear more of an Anatolian stamp (Byzantine, as well as Ottoman).

They undoubtedly seem a little obscure to those who don't live right next to them.
