I feel so fucking inferior and every day, I feel even more so. i didnt even end up going to uni fuck me mate
Camden Cooper
don't kids like this end up either burning out too soon or sending out bombs through the mail to rebel against industrial civilization?
Benjamin Young
>thinking about going into computers
What a waste.
Michael Gutierrez
>IQ of 145
That's not even that high. True genius tends to be 150+. Sounds like he just has crazy concentration and crazier parents. And skipping normal socialisation with peers, first crushes, best friends and all that might fuck him up. Just let the kid grow up normally, Jesus Christ. He'll be the number 1 poster on Jow Forums in 10 years.
Cooper Wilson
looks like CS is really the thinking man's science

This is just the intelligent thing to do desu
Tyler King
I did my MSc in Math and learned about a lot of child genius mathematicians. Before I went to school though I spent my early 20s working shitty jobs in restaurants.
What I learned slowly is that math/tech geniuses are no more or less well-adjusted than outgoing people.
Terence Tao is one of the best mathematicians who ever lived and he’s very normal. I know professors who worked with him.
Blue-collar people get the “normal guy” experience and maybe fuck some more girls while they’re young. But they also end up on psychiatric meds or going to rehab or jail or being unemployed for stretches of time. I don’t think putting a kid in uni at a young age will make him more or less well-adjusted at the end of the day.
Jim Simons got his math PhD at 23 and he’s pretty normal.
Parker Phillips
Theoretical CS is prettymuch maths.
Aiden Morris
Oh no, I wasn't coping or resenting if that is what you thought. Just an observation about how mediocre, unmotivated types such as myself have a pretty small place in todays world.
Joseph Carter
>hurr better keep a detailed journal of all my bomb making experminents
>durr better keep my loose-lipped brother informed
>me so smurt

He has only 145 IQ and managed to graduate high school that early? I bet that is a pure bullshit made up by their parents.
Ayden Hill
>tfw you will never be smart
Jaxson Lewis
Doesn't that really hurt your social development? Why are his parents pushing him through college at 8? He won't have any friends and it will suck so bad.
Jeremiah Barnes
>going to college at 8
What the fuck was I doing at eight? Playing runescape? I didn't even understand how to use the private chat function. Christ.
Luke Sullivan
Serait-ce le prochain Hitler?
Aiden Stewart
I feel like shit, in everything I do at uni I have to put like 5x the effort of most my colleagues to get worse results
Benjamin Morgan
I am Laurent Simmons AMA
Tyler Walker
>Doesn't that really hurt your social development?
It probably will, during his teaching he was alone in an other room studying away from the 17/18 year olds. And exempt from PE classes. He had no interaction with any other kids.
Aaron James
In fact my husband went to college at 16 and he felt that really hurt his social life during that time.
Charles Allen
PLEASE BE IN LONDON
Aaron Thomas
it took me weeks to pass the tutorial island as I didn't speak English and I didn't know what to do at the mining place. I am not a smart man
William Thompson
Yeah at least homeschool kids get to hang out with their brothers and sisters. Wtf sending him to sit alone in a room all day?? Too sad. Its pure pride on the part of his parents. He should be able to have fun in his youth and play around, not go to college or whatever.
William Sanchez
yeah it makes no sense, it's not like you have to hurry at 8yo. Furthermore school should form you as a person as you grow up
Robert Russell
Seriously, I have pretty high IQ with two or two and half sigma, And as a person who have met tons of genius during private '''special education''', every person who claims to understand calculus or algebra actually doesn't know anything. They just memorized all the stuffs like dy/du*du/dx=d(f(g(x)))/dx. Education is not something you can just fly up, but a thing you have to step up carefully.
Josiah Gonzalez
Here we also have classes like religion. Where you can discuss various topics and debate religion/athiesm etc. He also did not attend these classes since "he's only and 8 year old boy and cannot grasp these topics". They're just pumping his head full with math.
Oliver Flores
This is like being the super Chad with the perfect figure, except its all in the brain. Life is quite unfair.
Andrew Barnes
this
Oliver Jenkins
Same here. Also if you put a working class "Chad" in a room full of educated people, you will see HIM being the autistic retard who does not get the conversions.
Tyler Collins
Religion is a waste of time after all. Why does someone have to debate about something which is already debunked like centuries ago? Better debate about other stuffs like how does multilateral society affect individual or something
Daniel Cruz
It's a kind of freethinking class, you can talk about allot of things. You can see it as a class where independent thought is encouraged not only religion.
Ryder Morales
lol when was religion "debunked"? Let alone centuries ago? Are you thinking of galileo galilei?
Noah Hall
I have only graduated junior high school
Nice to meet you
Connor Wood
No, But I'm thinking about feuerbach.
Not that bad then
Luis Baker
>feuerbach
feuerbach didn't "debunk religion". Not believing and argue against some aspect of religion is not the same as "debunk religion". Also you seem to be a time traveler from future if feuerbach is "centuries" ago, more like "century and half ago"
Aaron King
1.5 centuries ago
Henry Bailey
By that dumb logic even just last year is "centuries" ago because its a year is .01 centuries. Wtf.
Jayden Ward
He's gonna have a bad tome
Josiah Thomas
*time
Nathaniel Gutierrez
>feuerbach
>"debunking religion"
>not merely articulating religious modes of thought enveloped within secular language
Ryder Parker
> IQ of 145 according to his parents
> "there is statistics, geometry and algebra"
> my child has problems socializing, better make him skip some classes and put him in a context where he will never belong
I just wish some parents would leave their children alone
Brayden Long
this kind of people are called savants, it's nothing new
Andrew Morris
AHHHHH! LAURENT!
SLOW DOWN, YOU'RE BEING EDUCATED TOO FAST
Angel Miller
Here I am at 37 slowly scraping my way through community college in the evenings after my full time job. What a cuck I feel like.
