The news article about the study is from 2010. It's about how Finnish research group discovered the relationship between violent behaviour and certain alleles of MAOA and CDH13 genes. They found that out by researching the genomes of 900 prisoners in Finland. 20 % of Finnish prisoners are foreign citizens.

Now both of those genes, or their certain variants, are associated with Africans mostly. According to the following article from 2014, 5 to 10 % of all violent crime in Finland can be explained by those genes. The original study doesn't mention the ethnicity of the prisoners. Nowadays, if ever, those genes also are not considered to be related to Finns in any special way.

There's also significant cultural factors regarding this matter. The treshold to report to the police is very small among Finns and also compared to many others, Finns are more sensitive to what is violence and what is not.
