Fuck whales and PNDs

OG ethereum miner / early bitcoin buyer and Jow Forums oldfag here.

I sat on my ETH through the big DAO hack, and I've gone to every Ethereum-related conference since. I only started selling ethereum locally after august of last year to up my modest life a little, although I've networked pretty heavily over the years.

I'm bored and pretty fucking heavily connected to the oldboy altcoin groups, and I'm kind of sick of what's going on in the background.

Ask me anything. Especially about icos and crypto projects from sketchy ass countries.

This, also do note the double dubs. Kek is watching.

No, fuck that guy. Check the trip.

how are people finding out about listings before they happen? loose lips at the top?

What's going on 'in the background'?

With the amount of OTC buying going on and the offers pitched to me through pools, probably not very long. The powers that be that control the media can produce fomo as much as they produce fud for normies at will.

It's gonna be huge if Sergey gets an actual fucking team to make an actual product. Decentralized oracles are what's going to make smart contracts anything more than a meme.

With regards to smart contracts. How are lawyers/accountants adapting to this relatively new blockchain concept? (given those industries would be the first wave to get hit) I’m a new lawyer, any thoughts on how to “break-in” the blochain industry to work as an attorney? Working in this evolutionary tech I would be willing to commit my life to. Thank you, user.

Any thoughts on Rhett being kicked off his own project? Is it dead now?
Are people really going to fall for it again with primething?

Unlike traditional marketes, information travels down in a funnel. Some of the guys chilling in the old eth miner chat groups LITERALLY work in binance / bitfinex. Others run API scanners to detect upbit/binance/etc listings the second they pop up.

Where do I even start with this? Well, the most egregious things I can think of...

How about the fact that three whale cartels basically bought out every decent or hypeable ico in the 2017 bull run and artificially controlled the supply to dump on everyone?

The DBC pump and dump was fucked up.

Second: There is a go-to guy in China that Chinese bad actors/hustlers go to get whitepapers made. The guy literally pieces together paraphrased chunks of a lunatic OG bitcoin dev's bitcointalk rants in his coin thread.

Great project by the way, too bad everyone on that team is autism on aspergers and a coin that literally stole their code from 2015 is in the top 20

chainlink is a decentralized network for centralized oracles, there's a difference.

They see it as an interesting idea, but even guys with phenomenal lawyerese won't touch them out of the box. The 2016 DAO hack was a massive wakeup call to the innovator crowd.

Honestly, I got in on Ethereum this for the idea of a massive distributed computing network. I've always used bitcoin to buy weed and didn't really care for the "Satoshi's true vision" drama.

The BTCP bullshit has me rolling my eyes. To a guy who used to work in marketing, every 'bitcoin' fork dilutes the brand name just a little more.

every bitcoin fork dilutes the brand name of those forks, not bitcoin itself, which is why ver is ironically so against any other "fork" of bitcoin other than bcash

what do you think of this bullshit eos pump? any threat to ETH in the long run?

what do you think of EOS and TRX?

Should i sell gto now?

do you think Charlie Lee knew with inside info that market was going to crash and that's why he went on epic LTC promotion just to sell out? think he also unloaded all of his XMR too

so will you mine some?

What do you think of VEN, WTC, and AMB?

Thanks for staying in touch with the newfags. Even though there are plenty of retards out there, I think some of us still have integrity. Do you have a position in either HOT or ORI? And if so, a target? If you aren't in either, why not?

The market makers are painting a perfect technical chart. IMO it will get into "hilariously overvalued" territory towards the main net, and I won't be surprised in the slightest if disillusion with the final product is the catalyst for our next cooloff period.

Don't confuse "hilariously overvalued" with "shitty project" though

Charlie Lee definitely knew what was up.

I don't mine the main coins anymore, or for money really. I do it for collecting these days. I hop between interesting new coins like Ella, Akroma, Raven, and IPBC until the bitcointalk catches on. Then it's off to hunt for the new one.

EOS is probably legit, Dan larimer has always been a reliable guy. However, the use cases of EOS and ETH are different, and many projects don't really need the technology provided by EOS and won't go through the trouble of moving on. Plus, it sounds like the best thing since sliced bread but the technology sounds like a logistical clusterfuck to me. I roll with the tech startup life.

TRX pisses me off more than most coins. The same groups involved in that pump are now involved in tricky justie's new project (Odyssey). They also stole way more than their whitepaper but they can probably make a passable product that'll be inferior to the source material but 20x better marketed.

A different corrupt influencer crowd is going to start shilling Pareto, another shitcoin, starting this week.

What do you think of Stellar?

>then it’s off to the hunt to the next one

What’s your methodical process in the hunt research. What factors/ indicators do you use in evaluating and deciding to keep digging, buy or throw aside.

thanks for your feedback bud. also i was wondering what your take is on wallstreet being in our space soon (or already are). family member of mine works for barclays and they confirmed they are opening a crypto desk this year. could we see 100k btc by eoy (and eth 5-10k?)

Supply chain is one of the most obvious use cases of POA public blockchains. The models AMB and VEN have going will go a long way to improving consumer trust in large industries and reduce costs along the supply chain if the sensor tech isn't vaporware.

VEN is leaning more towards an enterprise fundraising platform and they're probably going to catch up to NEO and maybe flip itafter main net, unless they fuck up HORRIBLY.

AMB on the other hand, looks like they're going to compete with IOTA in the long run with focus on dapps, given the guys they have on their team. They also declared that they're going to be the "Android of IoT" in a tweet.

WTC consistently fucks up and I dumped my GMN for a speculated 500k node on AMB. They also continue to hint and tease their community at partnerships I know they don't have a chance in hell to secure, like GSK.

Also, RFIDs don't have fucking magic radios.

Anyway, expounding a bit on Ambrosus, AMB's team has so many parallels with VEN it's not even funny. Anyone on Jow Forums who's bought the fud and hasn't taken 15 minutes to research the team deserves to stay poor.

From our altcoin discord autism, their lead engineer Jean-Paul Sandoz (not even in an executive position) is the cousin of a guy who's shared a whole bunch of articles in french about his family - which coincidentally enough, is the Sandoz family that has its fingers across a lot of swiss products.

The most notable link there, is that Sandoz and Ciba-Geigy merged to form Novartis, the 4th largest pharmaceuticals company in the world in the 90s. Ownership of the company is still heavily distributed across that family, and Ambrosus indicated they have a pilot dapp program in their livestream on the 20th.

youtube.com/watch?v=0mBQJxrffyU

Do you think Odyssey is a good buy right now? I've heard rumors about a Binance listing soon.

>The guy literally pieces together paraphrased chunks of a lunatic OG bitcoin dev's bitcointalk rants

Example?

When should I sell my TRX? Mainnet launches may 31st so im expecting a dump a few days before that but from your experience, should I dump sooner?

what`s your end goal?
what`s (((THEIR))) end goal?

A good currency and idea after you cut out the SJW bullcrap. I personally don't like what they currently have to offer ICO-wise but that'll probably change down the road. As for speculating? Ehh, market's full of better stuff.

any thoughts on THETA? pretty awesome advisory team

you think OMG will be huge?

If you don’t know what he’s talking about about you deserve to be poor.

alright ill ask
what do you think of link?
are we deluded?

Market makers (the same whales that pumped Tron) are aiming for a 2 bil market cap, which means anywhere from 600 to 1.5 bil. It's probably still safe to enter at this range, but you'll get dunked on TRON style at the end of it. It's a tricky justie project and if he's good at anything it's marketing and hyping.

Only tricky justie knows when the dump will be.

I just wanna build cool shit man

(((THEIR))) goal is to accrue wealth for their clients, of course, and to lock down the technological threat cryptocurrencies and public blockchains provide.

Hell, the bilderburg group literally controls bitcoin core now

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bilderberg_Group

I don’t deserve to be poor :(

user you seem p cool, but WTC is positioning itself to be the defacto IOT chain of China, everyone 'in the know' knew this from ICO, makes me think you might be larping.

Anyways, instead of a question heres some advice. Those memories of mining ETH and BTC, they'll be yours forever, cherish them, cos i know they give you the feels.

>Anyone on Jow Forums who's bought the fud and hasn't taken 15 minutes to research the team deserves to stay poor.
Oh it's another ambrosus larper. Ok. I guess this is going to be biz for a while.

What are your favorite projects besides ETH and BTC?

No, you're sitting in a pretty big Walton echo chamber if you think that.

ITC was positioned to be the defacto IoT chain of China, but their team is autistic as fuck and they managed to fuck up an exclusive Chinese government partnership. If you ever wondered why ITC ran up to $11 and crashed violently on no news, now you know why.

Every whale insider dumped after they managed to flub that.

VEN is honestly the best-positioned IoT project in China right now, but ITC may still have the better tech. ITC is fucked if they don't work on their b2b marketing and guanxi game though.

You mentioned Pareto Network and that its going to be shilled. is it safe to buy some now and ride the wave?

>Being this autistic

Man there's so much coming out, it's a hard call. It's even harder to figure out which ones are gonna be around in 3 years.

Hard tossup really, my top 5 speculatives would probably be:

1. Banano (kek)
2. Go Network
3. Zebi
4. WAN
5.

Lmao fuck yourself you pharma/bear/faggot professional larper.
s a g e

I honestly played it as my throwaway anti-LARP card, but they loaded up at $0.015 so who the fuck knows when they'll dump on everyone. Watch twitter and youtube for it though.

wanchain a good hold?

>my top 5 speculativ
is number 5 Filecoin?

So you think it‘s still safe to invest in eos? I‘m up 40% on elec and I‘m unsure if I should dump that position and get into eos ( still a poorfag 10k elec only )

Attached: link2.png (223x225, 27K)

what about INT?

you think we'd go down to 3K this year? Tone Vays thinks so

No what about CPC?

How do I get back the ETH i lost in hot potato games

Depends on your risk tolerance. One of my favorite whale crews has EOS as one of their top 5 moons and they'll probably pump with their ICO eth, but sustaining that valuation is still contingent on a smooth main net launch. The people fomoing in right now have weak ass hands

are the whales that control this market mostly Chinese?

what other sites, chats, telegrams groups would you say give good advice or inside info on all this behind the scenes madness?

Anything on AION/ENG?

Both are my long term holds atm. I feel that they could be huge in a year or so

What do you think of this project? Have you heard of it before?

Attached: 1524734541143.png (730x409, 624K)

My risk tolerance is high and my hands are iron lol no fr Idc about the money I can pour in money every week as I‘m into internet marketing anyways I need some other juicy 20-50% or even better a 2x you think eos will be mooning until mainnet launch?

It's just more fun of a LARP if I never explicitly confirm my favorite platform coin.

We're not stopping at 3k if by some diabolus ex machina every government banned crypto or some shit.

Hoooo boy, that's a tough cookie.

Long story short, the previous guy in charge of marketing has fudded it pretty hard in conferences after a few beers, calling cpchain dead in the water.

Other whale groups I swim with have individuals owning more than 500k cpc

You can still play hot potato my friend, learn some risk management my friend and quit chasing shit that's already mooned to the top 50 and such. Never met anyone that got fucked that badly unless they were playing with tron, verge, and cardano pumps

What do you think of Request Network?

oh i see. #5 on your list is ETH

full of turboautists

Nah, I'd say Chinese whales control the macro market more than anything. Three ico cartels (fund coalitions) control private ICO sales and two of them are New York based. Chinese market makers usually focus on Chinese coins in the broader alt market while burgers and euros focus on the ones with heavy western communities.

Network a lot. Some of the big players actually shitpost in the Jow Forums meme coin of the month communities and Brule's discord, believe it or not.

Love em both

is TEL a good buy right now? i have an extra BTC i made of EOS pump i don't mind gambling it away.

Thoughts on COLX?

Attached: 1525022661090.png (1127x685, 37K)

I‘m myself big into cpc got a small masternode if it’ll be the same tiered system as with vechain but I‘m in since the ico end and it‘s price is just not moving not dumping or pumping good volume but no price movement.
I bought into as I‘ve barely seen such fundamentals

How sustainable is having a new currency for every new conceivable use case for digital money?

What do you think about BCH's goal of becoming worldwide Cash and being able to perform all Alt use cases on its chain alone?

I know most Alt circles scoff at the idea, much like old financial circles scoffed at BTC early on. Wondering your personal take on it.

where can I get a qt ancap gf who is into crypto?

Attached: 44847573.png (640x619, 381K)

Weird to think I could have been in your shoes right now,

I was an early dogecoin miner, yes, fucking, dogecoin of all things, before ETH even existed. but forgot about it after the price stagnated and lost the wallet, then the rest in the cryptsy shutdown.

Have only got back into crypto recently. LINK Marines reminds me of DOGE Shibes back in the day.

Attached: nmr.png (1826x974, 1.04M)

would you please share your thoughts on hpb and bto?

Institutions already bought a shitload of BTC OTC. It started with Asia and the desks are already live for research, just not formally. I still can't believe people were retarded enough to think they'd be market buying peoples' BTC bags instead of getting a bulk discount.

Think about the marketwide implications about what they'll use that BTC to buy for a moment.

The guys who got disgustingly massive private sales for TEL are still getting their bonuses dropped in periodically every month. Wait for it to stop dumping on the monthly.

I don't doubt the vision or project, but it's obvious the team was desperate for some seed cash and gave the ico cartels all the means to dump on bagholders.

Who said anything about favorite

Attached: 1512102658600.jpg (203x350, 16K)

just wanted to say Thank You OP!

crypto is probably the last opportunity for ordinary folks like us on Jow Forums of any chance of potentially making it

thanks for you insights

The resources brought to bear (Ayyy) against BCH might simply be too massive. Keep an eye on (((institutional))) crypto cash solutions like Basecoin though.

Academia has murder squads of economics ph.Ds modeling and fucking around with digital currencies.

I'm still looking myself, man. Feels bad.

I hope the hardware isn't vaporware. As for bottos, I'm skeptical in general of tokenized AI

Could you please share a contact to you?

>network a lot
You seem knowledgeable beyond standard biz larp. Do you have discord/tg?
I’m $300k in crypto, but almost no connections with big boys

I feel like theres so many platform coins that were big last year like Stratis, Waves, and Lisk that rarely get talked about now. Is this just due to over saturation or are these coins shite/have no chance?

Hey. Have you heard anything sketchy about iExec ot Adbank

Definitely a lot of resources aimed towards BCH's destruction. Partly why I believe in it so much.

Thanks for the answer man, keep at it.

Nah, I'll be back on this trip but I'd rather not have my own "Hello I am Watchbro" moment.

Man, that guy is a retard, why do some of you guys follow him?

Who knows, Ver might wind up serving as a perfect distraction/martyr for the BTC and ETH whales that are bankrolling a huge project to sustain satoshi's herpderp vision. As long as the king turboautist stops his sanity slippage that is.

With Waves, it's definitely an issue of oversaturaiton and marketing. Lisk pioneered a pretty nifty dpos novel but it's turned into a cartel.

There's also a whale in one of my groups who proved that lisk wallets are mathematically attackable with a small hardware farm and he's been gathering all the fancy expensive hardware to whitehat the job. Dunno if he'll pull it off but that'll be interesting.

Are we all really made of cheese?

Attached: chainthinking.png (350x350, 495K)

Any thoughts on Matrix AI? Potential seems huge.

Are all the IOTA partnerships that were confirmed last week at Hannover Messe meaningful or just designed to lure in bagholders?

thoughts on THETA?

What do you think of HoloChain user?

Watchbro is a retard indeed, only fools would follow him.
I mean not your personal group, but groups you are in, like an altcoin research group you mentioned.
I don’t even mind dropping few grands if there are payment gateways to filter pajeets

Probably my last couple of answers for the thread. Got a conference call in 5 hours and it's late.

MAN is a legit AI project with a pretty stellar team. From what I've heard, they didn't actually need a token and ended up ICOing to save themselves from running out of funding.

Justin TV founder, already a functional project (Silver). Not too shabby of a bet around a 90 mil mcap but it hasn't really caught my interest. Definitely has potential though.

thanks. I look forward to your return

sup with RVN? seems no one's talking about it right now.

Pretty cool. Why are fomoers buying this HOT piece of ass though?

Find Jow Forums's meme coin of the quarter, start from there.

Brule's discord is also pretty cool
