butthurt

none

its like byzantium or carthage, big failure no one cares about anymore

These. Good to see some sane Poles.

What can you impart medieval peasantry? They had their religions, which were major culture determinants, the state kept out of it.

None. It was just a giant blob on the map, where nobles had far more power than their so-called "king". Ancaps would probably like it.

Silly languages.

slave mentality
despite current Polish revisionism and bragging about great democratic traditions, PLC was an awful place to live where for 80% of the population was absolutely dependent on 10% of the nobles and despite not being slaves officially and having some theoretical rights, serfs were de facto nothing more than slaves
>b-but muh serfs running from Muscovy/Russia to live in PLC
yeah, it's better to be a poor slave than starved to death slave but it's still slavery

> serfs running from Muscovy/Russia to live in PLC
)

Hi. Deluge was justified

t. Phoneposting Swede

I wouldn't want to be remembered by some ukrainian subhumans either, you people are the niggers of europe, a country of aids-ridden monkeys without history.

>serfs were de facto nothing more than slaves
a hohol doesn't deserve better Ukraine should be destroyed, all males slaughtered, all females sold as sex-slaves and the land divided between the neighbors.

>>b-but muh serfs running from Muscovy/Russia to live in PLC
Where did you get this shit? Serfs were running away both from Russia and PLC to the wild fields. And actually there were a lot of Orthodox people running away to Russia, because of persecution in PLC.
>inb4 MUH MOST TOLERANT COUNTRY
Yeah, yeah. Maybe for jews.

Beautiful cities (Vilnius, Kaunas, Lviv, Grodno)
more western mindset, hence pro-european west ukrainians
nationalism (but that's byproduct, not exactly made by poland)

Dunno if it was the most tolerant, but there weren't religious massacres like in eg France. Of course, as the country weakened, the tolerance also decreased.

WE
WUZ

The proof that multiculturalism equals a gradual destabilization and eventual downfall of a country, and that democracy is a sad joke.
But also nice romantic literature and pretty cool oriental fashion.

Wild Fields were a criminal-infested shithole filled with deranged murderhobos and bankrupt corrupt nobles. Just like it is today, I guess.

PLC gave you the only chance to drop orthodoxy and become catholics, therefore part of real Europe, but you didn't use it, that's why you'll stay Asian for ever

culture, architecture, cuisine etc.
basically everything

They created what would become modern day Ukrainians and Belarusians as the Russian inhabitants of the commonwealth began to adopt a slightly Polonized tongue, and spread Catholicism that remains in some places today

poolish trash that now we wuz in Lithuania,Belarus and Ukraine

>grand mother's grandgrandparents

>Russian inhabitants of the commonwealth
Ruthenian, not Russian, dumbass

Somewhere around Belostok, according to her.

>Białystok
Truly a magical place

Was it magical in 1840's?

Why do Lithuanians keep pretending that people like Mickiewicz were Lithuanians?

I imagine even more so

How are they silly? The silly languages are English or Spanish. You will never express your feelings the way you can in Polish. They are not silly and that's why no one can learn it if not learning it from the child. You can still speak it uga buga like some other languages do

>aristocracy runs country into the ground
>somehow this is related to multiculturalism and democracy

Actually now that I think about it OP is also asking about Poles.

It gave us more lands to settle, it protected us, it was a bulwark against the HRE, which would otherwise surely try to expand in this direction more aggressively. It gave us a large nation mentality instead of being some ethnicity. We'd be Czech-sized if we didn't build a large state organism at some point, we weren't populous at all until 19th century. Even after partitions the lands we already sat on made us grow when farming advanced and the economy stopped being so horrendous, having to balance trade with colonials and all (one of the reasons feudalism stuck around was the deficit). The Commonwealth, rest in peace, carried us into modern times and gave us inertia to go without it for the remaining time until now.

>The proof that multiculturalism equals a gradual destabilization and eventual downfall

It very clearly stunted our social development thats for sure. Dmowski analyzed that pretty well. Ethnic divide of economic roles is a bane for all cultures.

>democracy is a sad joke.

It might be naive and quickly morph into a partial oligarchy, but the alternative in the age of implantology, cheap surveillance, drugs etc. is just asking to become a gimp. Citizens need safeguards against the state's power creep and without giving the public some kind of a whip over the ruling class (even if not fully effective) I don't see common people surviving as free beings going into the future.

Who?Do you mean Adomas Mickevičius?

>Białystok
You poor bastard.

Białystok is nice, you nigger. Clean, safe, white. Nothing's bad in there

>deluded potato
