Not really, Poland didn't have consitution. It made one in 1791 in order to stop this irrational things and give more power to the King that actually prompted Russia to invade Poland because it was a sign of Russia losing control over part of polish nobility and came in to "liberate" Poland from ourselves. The Kościuszko army created legions but it wasn't enough to withstand Russian army decimating Warsaw. It ended up for Poland being partitioned and our "king" spending the rest of his life in Petersburg.
