I'm trying out a custom build of the next version of the Brave browser that's based on Chromium. I built it using the instructions here github.com/brave/brave-browser/

It's pretty damn sweet having the Brave ad/tracking shields together with my favorite extensions (4chanX and Shill Kill). I can't wait for this to become the official release version of Brave.

So many thins can happen in the next 15 days. They already confirmed paid ads before Q2 (ie before june ends), Bat will almost definitely be the first or the first batch of coins to be listed on coinbase.

Chrome based browser coming Q2 as well, which means all extensions from chrome plus ad blocking, cookie blocking, and script blocking.

The project doesnt really have announcements for announcements like 99% of vaporware "partnerships", so when shit is announced, it is announced as it is happening and finalized.

You are clearly not aware of the demonetization problem of YouTube. Although there are already other options to earn money like patreon/merch, this will not stop creators from diversifying there ways of income. Brave and BAT are just another way to make money and no creator will say no to that.

I also did a custom build last week and it indeed looked pretty sweet. I‘m now a lot more confident that Brave 1.0 will be a rock solid release, staying closer to Chromium is a good strategy.

I see solid growth ahead, but no moon mission soon. I think we need a partnership with a big tech company for that to happen.
