What happened with Africa?

Why was Africa so underdevelped in general at the time europe colonized it? There must be a reason

geographic isolation
see new world

it has proper shit geography for building civilisations because tropical diseases + unreliable floods and draughts or thick jungle + not many tamable animals + if you go for Jared diamonds thing north south geography instead of east west
what i didn't relaise until recently as well is how tiny its population was before the 20th century. French west Africa which is a huge area only had a quarter of the population of France or something

But North Africa wasn't actually that isolated?

colonists stole everything

> tropical diseases + unreliable floods and draughts or thick jungle + not many tamable animals
India was like that and yet they managed to build a functional society with an economy. I think it's just nogs bro.

It's the cradle of humanity where we evolved hence its the perfect environment for creatures, parasites and diseases that have specifically evolved to prey on humans.

>colonists stole everything
>before the colonist came
Sounds about right

Europeans turns everything they touch into shit

nig nogs.

north africa is also noticeably less shit historically

Because they never had a reason to invent stuff.
Mesopotamians and Egyptians had to use a written language and a calendar for their harvests.
Or domesticate horses because of their harvests.
And then also the invasion of the proto Indo European people on their chariots.

While a negro in Africa can live comfortably in a mud hut and go out and pick something from a tree to have his dinner.

We aren’t talking abou NA here.

...and they were also colonized by the British. What’s your point?

India's amazing for agriculture

...

And they killed off in the millions by British but still aren’t Sub Saharan Africa tier.

because N I G G E R S

thas rite

fuck off insect

REALLY made me think

what about India? it was isolated too and produced the earliest recorded civilization
or south east Asia, the Khmer built a massive advanced empire in the stinking malarial swamp
Maya in Mexico were in the jungle too

Africa had plenty of contact, especially after the Muslim expansion, north Africa was part of the heart of civilization

>Why was Africa so underdevelped in general at the time europe colonized it? There must be a reason
Because they have good warm weather, no need to build some big ass house to avoid freezing to death. A mud "house" shelter is enough for them, just to avoid predators. Have various of fruits and other food that they can eat/get instantly. Their biggest threat is the wildlife for which they have some basic weapons and that's all.
While euros had way many problems than africans. The life conditions made them/us to evolve even further.

Also, nig nogs. That's just a fact.

Isolation mainly. The continent is cut in half by the Sahara first, and then sideways again by the dense Equatorial forests and the Kongo basin.

What foreigners did was by the Chinese who wandered into the Swahili coast, which is a very harsh and unwelcoming place so they foresook all expeditions into Africa. Same with Europeans who only ever traded with the empires on the Gold / Ivory coast, which is why the Mali empire was one of the strongest in Africa.

And without trade, shit is hard.

Anyways go read this book guys. It's amazing.

niggers

Still far worse even when compares to South/East Europe

South Africa/Namibia are much better than most of the shit countries of Jow Forums posters

They had a full-fledged civilisation from a very early time. Just the rumours of what was waiting for them in India led Alexander the Great's army revolt and demand he turn back.

They weren't as developed as Europe during the colonial age, but that went for the entire rest of the world as well. Comparing them to Sub-Saharan Africa solely on the basis that they were colonised is single-digit IQ tier.

India was colonized more out of political manoeuvring than force
Britain never had the power to subjugate India at first, it just used economic and politics to snap it up bit by bit

my shitty theory: Humans evolved along other animals in Africa so other animals learned how to not take shit from humans. This lead to no domestication (in subsaharan africa at least) so everyone there remained hunter gatherers. This may be the reason why Africa still has the most megafauna because we killed most megafauna in other continents.

where’s the based french guy in benin when you need him

homonids lived outside of Africa for millions of years
