the alpine league would clearly dominate this europe

Unsustainably large countries and countries split between two landmasses would never work realistically
Also grmany shouldn’t be split into two countries

the First European Empire

hahaha look at the penis hanging over europe

That's the prepped bull cumming over northern Germany.

fuck off kraut

A future with Europe dominating over the world as an unmatched empire would be very nice but I'm not ready to get rid of my identity and genuine hate for the other nations yet.

>Iberia
Fucking atrocious grasp of languages

why would you need to get rid of your identity to live in a unified European state?

you could aswell make us hungarians, without Transylvania we are just like every other hopeless balkan shitholes

We all have antagonisms between each others that date back to medieval times and are difficult to ignore, the linguistic, religious and cultural differences are so strong that we would never get along evenly like the inhabitants of other big nations such as USA, China or Russia.
In italy in particular the cultural differencies are so strong that every cities hate each other, even thogh we have the same religion, culture and language (kind of).

well what about the Chinese, Russian and American civil wars?
>In italy in particular the cultural differencies are so strong that every cities hate each other, even thogh we have the same religion, culture and language (kind of).
...and still you can live under one state

I think these antagonisms are overstated, especially in the modern days. I think they're no real argument against a unified European state.

Get ready for some balkanization

Would be sweet it that was the case nowadays.

It took a lot of time and struggle for the unification of Italy to occure, I can see the possibility for the unification of Europe but I'm dead sure it won't happen in my lifetime...
Anyway it would need a strong equivalent of the national sentiment but encompassing all Europe, identifying our continent and culture as a principle and identity to protect and elevate, and I am not really seeing that in Europe right now.

Never going to happen, you naive germans with your globalised country just don't know what it feels like to be proud of what makes you you. That's exactly the reason why you people consider yourself europeans before even german

fair point, I don't see it coming at the moment either
>let me tell you about your country
just because I see benefits in having one political European entity doesn't mean anyone would need to give up his national identity you fucking retard
people from Quebec embrace their culture and language despite living in Canada for centuries you

We Europeans ruled the world for over five centuries, and we're the center of the world since the greek city states, what are you talking about?

You're saying this, yet the thousands of germans that flock to the city of my region to study there every year are always surprised about the pride we feel and how "left out" they feel. If they manage to make friends with locals it's literally only the alternative hippie type person.
You can't understand this if you've never felt something like that

And we are getting bashed and raped by the other megastates.
I'm talking about the present century, when is a crime to state the superiority of your culture and race.

I'm not even Italian fratello italico...

You have to go back

>are always surprised about the pride we feel

Those are the effects of the deradication of the younger generations, who are brainwashed in thinking they would never face the need to stand their ground against a menace to their identity, they will always think there's a safe harbour for them everywhere in the world which makes the concept of nationality literally useless.
That's happening all over Europe and its not a problem for the Germans only, but its rather infecting the middle classes and the public opinion of all the european countries.

>You're saying this, yet the thousands of germans that flock to the city of my region to study there every year are always surprised about the pride we feel and how "left out" they feel
Thats a nice fantasy, but the only germans who would feel that way are the same types who don't want to feel that sort of pride to begin with.

Everyone else is perfectly happy to be proud Swabian, Hamburger, Saxon, Berliner, Bavarian etc.
You shouldn't believe so much in memes.

>You shouldn't believe so much in memes.
Real life experiences are memes?

if you conclude from a few experiences with hippie exchange students students then yes

Are the basques celtic?

Only small country Austria can feel so much patriotic, in real countries like France, Germany or Italy a person is more attached to his region/lander than the whole country

Yes
No, celts are indoeuropean, basques precede them

Are you kidding me? It doesn matter how big or small your country is, it has to do with history history. I first and foremost am proud of MY region and MY history and not about whatever they did in Upper Austria or any other region.

Ai dreptate. Majoritatea sunt Romani oricum, nar trebui sa fie parte din Ungaria

where? greenland?

Still hate me Mario?

You are so irrelevant to me I can't even think about a stereotypical name for you.

that’s good then
