Anyway you're right, there's still a lot of room for improvement but the point I was trying to make is that the SJW types who would potentially raise hell about gene manipulation aren't focusing on the things that matter.

Wasn't there a conference on ethics on genetic manipulation decades ago? Seeing how you need high tech and laboratories and lots of capital, I can't see rogue players or clandestine clinics cropping up with the ability to fuck with genetics, only big name players that can get bullied by governments. And if governments start secret genetics programs, they of course wouldn't want the wider public to know so you'll never really come across people with altered genetics all that often.
