This is true. Most of my Korean friends who live in Japan say people talk to them in Japanese all the time because they never even suspect that they might be from somewhere else.

Theres plenty of Chinese and Koreans in Japan. A lot of them come for education and you can see them doing part time at convenience stores very often. Theres also a lot of them in girls bar business.

My uncle married a Japanese, a Korean, and a Chinese girl. He told me to NEVER marry a Chinese girl because she will take your money and send it to her parents in the mainland then ask for more. As for Koreans, he said they are proper and respectable but tend to have a temper, and Korean strangers will talk shit about him while he was in Korea (walking around with ex wife presumably).

I go to China sometimes, there are many tourists from Korea and Japan but thats it.

three major china towns (in yokohama, kobe and nagasaki) are popular sightseeing spots. those traditional ones have already assimilated well, so people don't care. newcomers on the other hand vary; some are scum committing crimes though the majority are good ones who like japan and try to assimilate.
as for koreans, zainichi koreans are not as bad as netouyos make it out to be on Jow Forums, but they tend to be more political than their chinese counterparts and often play the victim card, and newcomers are not that different from chinese ones.

Hes Japanese and looks the part. Yeah, often theres no difference between Japanese and Koreans in looks but some people you can tell from a mile away. He understands Korean quite well. He said strangers would be insulting him in public thinking he won't understand. I don't know he was walking with his Korean wife or not, but she was a good amount younger than him and was quite beautiful so maybe the Koreans were salty.

But yeah, he married a Japanese girl quite young, broke up because she was crazy, married a Korean, broke up due to not spending time together cuz work, married a Chinese girl and broke up for whatever reason. He wasn't even rich, tall, or handsome and he was dating a stunning and rich Shanghai girl while in his late 50s. All of his partners were young and pretty. I wish I had the chance to learn his ways before he died. After all he went through, he told me to stick with Japanese girls.
