Today I talked with a female friend. She works in some bullshit ngo focused in education in multicultural environments, recently she spent a few months in India. She explained me how indian males are absolutely terrible at interacting with women, even having small talks is difficult. She noted that there is not any trouble with muslims males, these can hold a normal conversation with a female without problems. She only has trouble interacting with hindus, it's like if it was unnatural for them to have conversations with women.
She lives in a house with a few people from her organization, most of them from foreign countries. There is an indian guy, too. This indian guy has forbidden her to wear shorts while being INSIDE the house. Nobody else in house cares about such bullshit, except this indian guy.

I think it has to do with arranged marriages. Men in countries where the marriages are mostly arranged by their families never have to learn how to interact with women properly. In most countries men are pretty much forced to learn through trial and error the best way to get in a woman’s pants

Pakistan in any case was a mostly nomadic/tribal dominated region, it wasn't even that heavily populated/dense for most of its history. Check british census records, Pakistan's population is large mostly due to punjab and punjab's population exploded due to massive irrigation during raj.
