I got an opportunity to go on a crab catching gig in Norway. Salary is 30000NOK (3.1k) euros a month before taxes. I will ask them how much I should get after taxes, but I'd like to hear from biz, maybe ya'll know how much I am supposed to get after taxes, considering my country (Latvia) has tax convention with Norway. Any ideas how to pay bare possible minimum?
Norwegian taxes

sounds like a shitty job op also you pay taxes where you make the money
tax will be about 25 %
source: norwegian
might be less depending on how long you work for (15 % for 6 months or 25 % for 12 months)
You do get a Seaman's tax rebate in Norway. It's not much but it helps.
Sounds like a hard tim for shit pay. Ask if they feed u crabs or would that b gettinghigh on your own supply
>by the way this is a really shitty salary for norwegian standards so hopefully you will be staying on the boat with expenses paid.
this is about the same salary as working at a supermarket
Yes ofc it's 3 months on boat all expenses paid (travelling back and forth) not my first time at sea. Shit pay for norwegian standards but I would be balla my eastern yuro standards.
yeah then it might be a good deal for you
That is a shit sakset OP. Most fishers get around 80-100.000 before taxes in Norway. Woman usualy get the same
People who working at the supermarkets in Norway get the same. Sounds fishy. Equal pay in Norway aswell
