Do you want that to happen?

no
Japan - Korea tunnel never happen.
because we won't

would they be profitable

Are the projects confirmed already?

Why you two can't be friends?

I would rather see a bridge or a tunnel between Hokkaido and Sakhalin.

Your politicians love money more than what you feel about Koreans.

As a guy who travels to japland often, a two way ticket to Hokkaido from the mainland is $300. Fucking annoying if you ask me.

cant wait for the victoria-tasmania one

>Do you want that to happen?
personally yes

Majority of Koreans don't like the tunnel either because they think it will only benefit Japan.

It will really save money for a lot of companies

>confirmed?
no. They still be planning

Since there is too much opposition on Korea's side, Japan seems to be leaning towards that

Damn that expensive
How about flying from Tokyo to Sapporo?
Ideally a tunnel from SK-Japan-Russia would be amazing.

But Sakhalin isn't connected to the mainland.

I don't hate Koreans individually.
some are good guys.
maybe if Korean government stop anti-Japan education to Korean people, and Their mind changed.

wrong.
Japanese Politicians don't give a shit about bridge to foreign country.

I agree. I could start road trip from Seoul and visit Japan, Russia, China, and back home without ever having to take a ship

Boзмoжнo в бyдyщeм? Why not

A Bass strait tunnel would have to be 200 kilometres long at least
The longest current actual undersea tunnel is the English Channel Tunnel which is 38 kilometres and built through a significantly easier geology
Let's let Elon Musk sort out the tiddly little Korean tunnels first, shall we?

even routing through king/flinders islands?

How about a tunnel between Tas and the mainland?

Strike that. just saw your post

There are a number of islands on the eastern side of the strait that separates Tasmania from the mainland and old mate is suggesting that it might be easier to tunnel or bridge between the islands

Damn user, then I think that these projects will take a lot of decades. All those years in confirming it and building it.
But we are talking about Korea, China, and Japan so you will probably see it happen while you are still alive, that is if the project is confirmed.

You can say that the same thing happens between Chile and Peru (some schools still teach the young ones to hate Chile) but still our goverments try to make big deals with each other, deals that involve huge sums of money and our future industries, even if we had a very spicy political drama a few years ago.
You should use this project as a way to unite people from both countries, at the end, the people will be the ones to have a big benefit for this. I know that this is not easy, but it will be nice to see it happen.

Peru and Chile maybe give Bolivia a tiny strip of land to the ocean. That would be nice.
