The trade war is going to cost farmers billions in tariffs and speculation, and with extreme droughts in some areas and large scale flooding in others a lot of people are going to suffer for the next few years
The majority of farmers are looking forward to a decent harvests though, and rural populations are growing for the first time since the Great Recession so that's something
Of course at the same time well over half the nation wants to punish the rural US for helping elect Cheeto Puff and are fighting in the streets over memes, all of this is just as surreal as it would to a foreigner for most of us outside of the major metropolitan areas

Bison meat is leaner than beef and tastes a bit leaner too
If it was more widely available I doubt many people here would eat any other meat
