What are the parts of your country that are liveable?

I grew up in Michigan. It's an incredibly boring state but doesn't have many problems outside of the "big" cities. I don't think my family's locked our front door in nearly two decades.
Based on my experiences

A Spaniard once told me that he was discriminated against in Mexico. People shouted him "Gallego", "Gachupin" and "Manolo" in the streets.
That's weird. I've met a lot of well-educated Mexicans who say they're not sure how to feel about Spain, considering that their ancestors were probably raped and enslaved by European conquistadors.
i never experienced something like that at the moment. I'm always friendly to people and get a good response. Buena onda amigo,

Apart from park way, the wings and lake districts, and some select neighbourhoods from tagua where it's actually nice to live in, it's mostly just a hot and dry shithole.

That's oddly specific.
Why do you have a positive opinion of North Carolina?
Depends on what you consider to be "liveable".
DO Mexican'ts treat you like an outsider
My comment wasn't regarding your own ethnicity so much as the feelings of Mexicans toward their Spanish ancestry.
You said that Mexicans asked about their "real Fatherland." That runs counter to my interactions with educated Mexicans, who wouldn't be inclined to view their Spanish ancestry with any particular pride.
lived there for a few years and found it really chill and welcoming. I liked that place, people is nice over there,
never felt a huge difference, speaking the same language breaks many walls down
okay i got your point. It's true that many people here dont know about their ancestry (in a more specific way)

These ones are correct. Specially São Paulo's countryside, it's the epitome of comfy IMO. I'm moving here someday.
