Should a slavccent be something that one is embarrassed to have, and something one wants to get rid of, or should it be something that one gets used to; one resigns himself to?

Yes.
there is nothing uglier than to speak English with a Slavic accent
even poos and Africans sound better, hell, East Asians do too
t. don't have an accent
Depends, do you sound light in the voice?
Meh.
If people understand you without problems, they have nothing to bitch about.
I think the French can give you a run for your money.
didn't think about that but it's true
weird, considering they're responsible for the very existence of English
I think so, I can't for the life of me get the pronunciation right - t's either too floaty, or too hard.
If you sound light and not like a typical slav then no problem
I've heard a bunch of French vocaroos and they honestly sounded almost native.
French sounds pretty good. Slav can easily sound quite nice its defnitely not pajeet/asian/
African level
As long as you can be understood you shouldn't care.
post a voiceroo
i like most slav accents desu
Aww you sound like a cute slavboy.
your english isn't bad, keep working on it
just read this
actually read this
you sound like one of those "*unbuttons pants shyly* uhh-umm" faggots
T-thank you?
vocaroo.com
lol, your english is fine mate, no one that isnt a total nigger would mind
Really?
It's comforting to hear that, but could you point out where I could improve? And how?
Speech's never been my strong suit, so I'd say there's plenty of room for improvement - gimme something to aim for if you could.
try to improve your 'th' sound
it's one of the most common things slavs have trouble with, its like you said, you sound more 'floaty'
Alright, I'll focus on that.
Thank you.
no problem
good luck bulgariabro
you sound a bit like varg, not bad lol
just make it less rough, practice the shitty sounds english has (r, th, w)
there were also slight gaps between your words, like, you weren't speaking slowly, but after each word there was a small pause that someone 100% fluent wouldn't have, but it was still easily understandable, and i'd imagine that would improve with practice.
That means that...
it's VOCAROO TIME !
actually, listening to your first vocaroo it wasn't nearly as noticable, so it was probably just cause you were reading
I get really disappointed when a foreigner tries to speak like a native. Accents are novel.
I had these pauses because I probably found it less intimidating to read that way. Definitely noted, though.
Thank you, and noted as well. I should probably pick up one of the old textbooks I've got lying around and practice.
