Realistically what price are we looking at for this?
Technically, as more people lock these up in nodes the more valuable it gets but the value of 10k together can’t exceed the worth of the passive payout or else people will sell heir nodes
At best case scenario, the node payouts will be 23k a year (8m vol daily with >2k nodes left) so that means we’re looking at ~$2 at best

You're ignoring the escrow service, and the ability to buy not only BTC but alt coins as well. We don't actually know how high the payouts could get at this point.

Finally gave up the FUD and FOMO'd in last night

You think people will pull out if they don't get their investment back after just one month? I don't think so

Even Coss manages to hit 1 million volume, which would be a 30% yield on investment. If Coss can hit 1 million then anyone can.

russian scam

devs will run away with your money

I bought 2 nodes a ways back. I might get scammed but meh, its not that much money. And if they don't exit scam those two nodes could be worth a lot.

My only question is, I honestly don't understand what trust nodes do... All I had to do was sign a message with my wallet and submit it to their website. I dont actually have to host anything, so I'm not actually doing some sort of validation or... anything, really

Same with me.. bought two nodes.. paired them with platform last night. going to set it and forget it. checking back in a few months to see what do.

Without even having any volume on the fiat pairs. I'm seeing coss at 10m eventually despite their incompetence. Now imagine what Payfair could do?

So what do the nodes do though? Are they basically just there to encourage people to hodl?

Hopefully these guys can iron out all of the minor bugs quickly enough, along with throwing in all of the big coins.
Because only then will this platform start getting proper attention.
I don't think it's going to take them too long to do it though. They seem competent enough.
Also I can't wait till these guys add Rupees as a form of payment.
This platform is going to get so many customers from Pajeetland.
Their banks are cracking down on crypto pretty hard, just like in Canada and they're forced to use LocalBitcoins.

More or less
Theoretically, they hold the value during the escrow exchange. Basically they are the collateral value held during the interchange

I have 18k, how do I create/join/buy a node? How much can the payout be for 18k?

Been playing around with the website.
There a couple of little hiccups, but it seems the team is workin on it.

It's actually pretty good.
Nothing could make me sell my 6 nodes.

Go to PayFair.io and go to the bottom and click trust-node dashboard.
Then it's easy to register your node.

And go here for payout estimates.

damn should've bought more :(
$692.17 per year! at coss volume
$5,291.58 per year! at localbitcoins volume

thanks

It's only a short matter of time before we start reaching those numbers.

Hopefully the team keeps improving the website to stay ahead of the curve.

They've earned my, and a lot of people's trust.

hum, so is a volume higher than localbtc expected?

I think so. LB has started requesting ID information and is an inferior product.
PayFair will work with bitcoin and more

It’s possible if more people use the platform. So just shill the fuck out of it like a poo in the loo and it may become popular enough. Seriously though, the website is good with minor bugs and slow transfer times. Once that’s fixed it should pick up speed.

Where can I see stats of my now connected wallet? Website seems to be in a very alpha state, most stuff doesn't work.

Nevermind, got it.
When will I get my fucking money? xd

This is the REQ killer.

They just need to get a UI update going so that usability and appeal is increased, along with the bug fixes. Don't think they've even started marketing yet either.
