How the fuck do we live longer than others? Lol
How the fuck do we live longer than others? Lol
it's hard to kill roaches
Italy does not drink too much.
ours is low because we drink and smoke a lot
>it's hard to kill roaches
do you even think before you type
did you get offended? sorry justin, i didnt mean that
Lots of vegetables, moderate alcohol consumption, not that much obesity and generally more relaxed attitude towards life.
>pension is at 65
Why such a low life expectancy in Russia?
russia life expectancy depresses me, wtf dudes :(
Failure of everything in 1990
men dragging them down by drinking and smoking too much
average life expectancy for russian women: 76 years or so
for russian men: 64 years
Here in my generation its 67 i guess
5 years are enough to live for oldman
Yes, but you'll live until ~80 and I'll until 67 (on statistical average).
It's average for men and women.
Insert work to live and live to work joke
And they say life in Ukraine isn't suffering
Sorry to say it Vasili, but it actually seems to be 64.7 for you:(
...nobody said that
EU will raise it to 72 because of high live expectancy they said.
Can't wait to see 70 year old men working on the construction site kek
le mediterranean diet
comfy sun and culture while still being developed
low obesity
My Metrology prof at uni said that only ~50% of aircraft maintenance engineers live up to 50, so I don't really care.
Communism be wack yo
Propably also the way old people are treated culturally. We usually dump them in to some center while in southern europe old people are more likely to still live with and taken care of by relatives.
Sad to hear it, how many years you still got?
30 years+21day
That's plenty still. And hey, let's look it this way, we nerver know if anyone of us sees the world in 30 years.
that's the edited pic here's the real one
No stress.
Im surprised in 1980we still were very high
How is Spain living so long?
What stress do wh*Tes have? You literally live on easy mode, you are rich, have superior genetics, better weather, functional societies and governments, better healthcare, better education, etc.
We die as we work: mañana, mañana, no prisa, despacito.
People in Southern countries live longer because of healthy, active lifestyle and rich, high quality cuisine
siesta is literally the best thing ever dude. I wish we had it over here
>high quality cuisine
Bullshit
also because they are born with a soul unlike northern europeans
Is this southron food?
you eat lots of fresh vegetables, high quality olive oil, fish, and other healthy ingredients
meanwhile westoids stuff themselves with fast food and deep fried mars bars
Siesta is shit, gib european schedule nao
Yes, pic related

the "mediterranean diet" is exactly what you described, only they don't eat it anymore: theguardian.com
Indeed, it’s one of my favorite tapas
i bet the perfidious anglos stand behind it
Broscience: the thread
Facts taken out of their asses: the thread
I wish there was actual scientific research about this fact
The med diet was always a meme invented by northerners to explain why southrons lived so long. The advantage won't disappear because of diet change.
Truth is it was never just the diet, probably the way of life that contributed to the high life expectancy. If you ask the people living in the blue zones of italy and greece they'll tell you that diet is only a small part of living long.
>not that much obesity
the south is just as fat as the north
meme map
The only factor I can see is that we don’t drink that much alcohol because we use to smoke a lot
my theory is that sitting on a chair in a lovely old alley while sipping homemade wine and chilling with your elderly pals make you live at least until 80
that's form 2012
Oh wow, Italians live 0.1 years longer than Swedes/Icelanders. Big difference.
Doesn't change anything. Still nearly every 5th med obese, that doesn't count as "healthy" diet/lifestyle.
not saying meds aren't obese, 60% overweight everywhere just isn't realistic
Sure it is, for two reasons. The first one is that yeah, everything seems to be pointing towards Europeans growing fatter and fatter. Secondly, there are other trends that will affect this, causing artifacts depending on how the instrument and definitions that make up the frame of reference. For instance, it could be that if they use BMI, the rapidly growing trend of muscle building the last few years among amateurs does introduce something that you need to control for. I don't know if that's been done.
You're not far off, lack of anxiety/stress is a huge factor, as are strong ties with family and relatives, general contentment with social interaction. There's also correlation with faith and spirituality. Regular exercise is also important. These are all common characteristics in the most long lived societies in the world.
Notice how most of these are determined by culture, and you can understand why the med diet meme was created. Northerners and americans wanted to point at something that they could change in order to also be healthy. There's a problem though, the real mediterranean diet practiced by people in all med countries is very far from what northerners idealised, people consume fucktons of fat and meat, yet still live long, contrary to the near exclusively vegetarian version of the med diet that is being advertised in the west. The reality of the reasons behind long life is very different.
I guess height also plays a role; the taller you are, the less accurate it is. A young athletic dude shouldn't count as fat if he's 1,90m and weighs 90kg.
Pasta
it actually is, retard. Population is bigger and much older. Newborns here have a life expectancy of almost 90 years.
>Population is bigger and much older.
>Newborns here have a life expectancy of almost 90 years.
>data in question literally concerns life expectancy at birth
