I don't know, but even I've mistaken Portuguese folks for Russian when abroad. I think it has to do with the way we say the short "r"s, and the fact that our cadence only highlights one syllable per word, which only us and Catalan does in the romance language.
It definitely does, but to a lesser extent for sure.

We also have the hard French/German R's, although more rural places roll them like Spanish.

It depends on the region, but in general, you guys have a more Italian-ish sing-songy melody to your speech. We're more harsh, slurry and deadpan whilst speaking.
