How much do you need to make it Jow Forums?
10M take it or leave it
500k-1m
1k NEXO to make it.
An few Asian qts to roll around in bed with
$500k and im good. $200k-$300k and I go traveling for a year.
10 mil plus whatever gravy after taxes. Probably going to blow 200k on a 2017 Audi R8 V10 plus, get a McMansion in Texas near some beach, and then buy a yacht and invest the rest in a vanguard account for passive income.
This
I’m at 660k right now and I’m not even relaxing. Maybe once I get past 2m
you can pull it off with less than 10 mil, but 10 would be ultra-set for life.
6 mil is my goal. 6 million and I walk away from work within a few months after that.
I like being ultra set. No kill like overkill.
1 million (enough for a comfy house up nothing and a fat little savings account)
I'm happy with 1.25 million
I have 200k and have a high paying tech job I enjoy. It's not like I think about money anymore. More would just be to finance startups of friends. And possibly buy a house at one point, but desu the house thing sounds like a lot of work and I'm more of the center of the city guy. So what gives, I just want to have the money to buy the time to do what I want and that's the case right now.
The richest crypto friend I have has $100 mil (Ethereum ICO). We are both active in the space too, although I only do it on the side and he does project. He's traveling a lot.
So I'm gonna say 10 mil sounds very comfy, yes, but I'm rather sure that when I had 10 mil, the next benchmark "to be comfy" would immediately pop up above me.
1 mil would be making it, I could live my current lifestyle for the rest of my life on 1 mil. 10 mil would be more than enough and I could renovate my family home, buy a decent car, get a business level NAS server for my home network.... but I would be killin' it at 100 mil. I'd still be set for life but I'd be able to build a lavish home on a large plot of land somewhere with a home theater, indoor pool, arcade, and other stuff (my family home is in the middle of town and does not have enough land to be secluded or expand further) and even spend money on the Lambo meme just for shits and giggles. Give my friends some good money, maybe donate to my home town's library and school system since they're in shambles due to poor budgets. Yea, that would be the life.
My guess is 6 million. My basis for that is I have never seen anyone post that they had more than that on Jow Forums, but I remember posters ages ago with 7-8000 ETH and more. I assume that at that level, you can’t be bothered with autistic shitposters, that your own autism is cured, and you spend your time plowing 3Ds. Or at the very least they don’t post their Blockfolio, in which case they are not insecure about whether they’ve /made it/.
Short term? 1m USD so I can take out half and have like 400k left after taxes, buy a house, have living expenses covered for a few years, keep the other half in crypto to keep accumulating. Long term? 7m after taxes. Lofty goal? 100m.
>what are you going to buy?
Probably spend 200k-300k on a house. Keep the rest to cover living expenses (food, maintenance, etc) for myself and the people I care about for the rest of our lives.
>then why do you need 100m?
I don't. I won't even buy fancy stuff. I just want 100m because lol why not. I would probably keep most of it in crypto.
Nothing will every enough
Made it: 10m
Happy: 1-2m
Happy is more than enough to get me on my way to made it in any case.
anyone else thinking about the moral dilemma of hiding your wealth? If I make it
I dont want to keep it a secret from my family and would love to treat my mom at least to nice things, but I KNOW that they're very irresponsible people and would tell it around and bring trouble to my door
True, easier to go from 1 million to 10 millions than from 1 dollar to 1 million
$10m
$10,000,000
Ten million dollars
Every night before I go to sleep I look myself in the mirror and repeat ‘ten million dollars’ three times
I also do this in the bathtub because the minor sensory deprivation I get in there helps me visualize more intensely

3.3M post-tax.
Setup an integrated clinic for stress management. Focus on helping others less privileged. Also plan is to raise more funds to setup a DESECO - decentralised (governance) spiritual eco-village with economic sustainability, in order to provide an alternative pathway to people dissatisfied with stressful urban living and wagecucking.
4 mil which equals 2.5 mil after taxes which, invested in an index fund with a 3% dividend yield gives me 75k taxable income per year which, after taxes (again) give some 50k cash per year to love off of
