I work in export now and lots of costumers come from China so yes, it definitely helped that I had an experience there and speak some Chinese. it put me ahead of all other candidates

I've realized everybody who I thought was my friend was just being nice and that I was never accepted, just tolerated.

So far so good. I wouldn't even be able to pick a favorite subject. Morphology, syntax, phonology, it's all so nice. I really love it
But you definitely have to be very passionate about languages to enjoy it
