"Do you have x years of experience in y?"

>"Do you have x years of experience in y?"
>always comes at the end of the application
>if you don't say yes your application will never be looked at

Why do they make me lie to them, Jow Forums?

My favorite is:
>Entry level position
>Requires 2 years experience

Honorable mention:
>Get contacted by company recruiter on linkedIn, asks if I'm interested in a role. Say yes.
>"So why would you want to work for us?"
Bitch! You called me!

>What's your current salary?
>I get paid X but I'm looking for Y
>Ah, well our salary range for this role is X

I have no idea how anyone, gets those jobs.

>"So why would you want to work for us?"
A lot of people got rich from selling books to stupid HR cunts that say "ask these questions, they are cool", so they ask them. The authors get rich, HR finds a sense of mission, and you stay poor.

>Graduate Trainee Position
>We require that you have at least two years of international professional experience

>Entry level position
>Requires 2 years experience
right in the feels. every fucking time.

The LinkedIn thing always boggles my mind. Like, I'm not looking for a job, you need to sell ME, not the other way around.

And then if you actually get the entry-level position, you quickly discover that all of your new co-workers have never had a job, multiple felonies, high school dropout, act obnoxiously black (wiggers) and stick you with all the work as they play on their phone all day

I hate to tell you fags this, but at my company we interview a couple dozen people a year for "open positions".
Then we fill the positions with friends or networked professionals from outside the regular pool of potential recruits who submit interviews.
This technically illegal, but by maintaining the appearance of open hiring, we do not break any laws.
It's also how we keep fucking scum out, since we grab people through reputation only.

There is no reason to pick up an unknown and untested piece of shit and hope he can keep up, when we know there are people out there we can get through the grapevine.

Easily 75% of hiring happens through back channels in this profession.

It's also why our company is still 90% white and 75% male, and incredibly profitable for our shareholders. Fuck diversity.
Makes it tough to pick up government contracts though, because they give bonus points for giving out welfare to niggers and women.

So we changed the race of a bunch of people to 'mixed', and they eat it up. Not legally allowed to inquire about the 'mixed' race part either.

What a fucking madhouse this country is.
