New to crypto - wat do

I just put about $1000 into crypto against the recommendation of my father. He's old school and basically just believes crypto to be speculation, and not actual investing. Please help me justify this in my mind. I split up the $1k between ETH, LTC, BTC, XRP, and LINK. Am I fucked? Also, I have a 2TB Samsung T5 SSD which I've encrypted with Veracrypt that I am using for storing everything on with various desktop wallets, so I am not too worried about anything getting stolen.

He's not wrong, you know. The majority of crypto is speculation, that's why bitcoin hit $20k because people kept speculation about its potentional.
Anyway, $1000 is nothing so the best way is to go all in as risky as that sounds. Go all in to become rich and diversify to stay rich.
If you go all in on Link which is cheaper than all those coins and it moons to even $50 you would make more money than if you were to diversify or go all in one of the other coins so link.

ETH is a good hold if you wanna play it safe, maybe have 50% of your portfolio in ETH

Yeah, I've been thinking about doing just that. Exchanging a couple of my other coins for ETH. And yeah, as much as I love him, he still supports Israel. He absolutely hates immigrants though. He worked for Texaco back in the 1970's and some illegal alien shitskin stole his Bronco and then proceeded to drive it into a lake. Basically a cuckservative because of his views on Israel.

Yeah, I don't really care about risk too much. If they lose value suddenly, I have the patience to wait. I'm probably going to go like half in on ETH since it's supposed to go up significantly from what I've heard. Then, I'll probably buy some more LINK and maybe a couple other coins or tokens if I decide to. I'll see though.
