COSS $8? You'd be lucky to get $0.80.

How about $1.50
Can I get a buck fifty?

There's belief and then there's outright fucking ridiculous predictions.

but in all seriousness they actually met a deadline this time, things might be looking up

After having extended it previously and with horrible execution.

Hey I didn't say they weren't incompetent. I regard it as a deep value pick with medium risk and an astronomical potential reward. They just need to be less retarded and hire non-Tanzanian developers.

Do you think that will happen? COSS has developers from at least 4 different countries by now and that trend doesn't seem to be slowing down. And why do you regard this as a "medium risk" investment? Just think about what they have to achieve to be successful - there are dozens upon dozens of exchanges that have conducted their business in a better manner than COSS. Why should anyone start using it? If you aren't too heavily invested, then I would suggest to wait for the next pump (if it ever comes) and find a good exit opportunity. This thing is going to stay in beta (2.0!) till at least 2019.

Medium risk because of my entry point. Medium risk because with an API volume will increase significantly. The team is targeting $50-100 mil a day volume by EOY. But let's halve their minimum estimate. $25 million a day. According to coss-stats.com, 10k tokens at 25 mil a day (without any fiat) is about $25 a week of a fully diversified portfolio that will probably pump in the long term. $100 a month isn't much of course, but it's not bad for holding. That completely discounts token price, too. Basically, COSS depends on a virtuous cycle of volume feeding volume. I believe that with an API this virtuous cycle will begin to form and snowball dramatically. Note that I didn't include any speculative valuations of COSS on top of that. It's a medium risk to be sure but one I think will pay off by end of year.

They can't get much worse.

I understand where you're coming from if you have a good entry position and a stack large enough to potentially some day live off of the FSA, but you have to understand that in order for COSS to succeed, it must do better than most other exchanges. It has to have something that other exchanges don't have so that people would want to switch over to it. Does COSS have something like that? Will it ever?

Plus you mentioning that they can't get much worse shows pretty well how confident you are in their recent actions.

Needs to have something attractive for new buyers? How about a fiat gateway and a 50% fee split allocation for life? Yeah, they can't get much worse. I'm not confident in them at any price above my entry point (avg about $0.29 or so). But I won't be bearing the risk at that point. Whichever way you slice it, it's undervalued - even with all of their fuck ups. New developers can be hired and code can be rewritten, but the fundamentals are all there. You'd currently be buying it with new features (fiat gateway, better optimizations, more developers, compliance, the macro Singaporean govt backing of cryptocurrencies, etc.) for a price lower than it was in November 2017. Without marketing.

>fiat gateway

Already exists, it's not hard to deposit fiat to a large, well-known exchange, buy crypto with it and then transfer it wherever you want to.

>50%

It's not the only token paying dividends and it only appeals to COSS holders in any case. Why would anyone who isn't holding COSS use it? I admit that the fundamentals are pretty good, that's why I was holding it for almost 4 months, but it was simply too painful to see other opportunities pass by while Rune and his team were fucking up. I hope you're right and something comes of this exchange, I might even buy back in later if it looks like they got their shit together, but at the moment the whole project still seems too raw to me.

Oh no I entirely agree that fiat gateway already exists elsewhere and is implemented better, but the key takeaway is that you're currently buying COSS after they've actually delivered something on time (just), even if it's not perfect out of the box. And on the fundamentals and if people will use it, that's why I'm classifying it as a medium risk. They allegedly have institutional investors lined up (probably something like Mumbai Sewers Inc.) but there's a lot of potential, which is what a speculative play needs. The project is definitely raw but they look like they're finally gathering momentum. Should be an interesting year.

Well, I hope you succeed in your endeavors and COSS eventually turns into something big, but, as I already mentioned, I've turned to greener pastures. If you do decide to keep on holding, then I advise you to ask yourself this - "does COSS have the potential to rise more than most other cryptos during the same time?". If the answer according to your research is "yes", then keep on holding. However, if you're not confident in your answer, I suggest looking at other options.

Lol TRX $5. Where do you retards come from?

I want to do the same as you, but I'd be selling my bags at breakeven price at this point so I have to wait a bit. Opportunity cost hurts as hell especially since I traded my entire stack of BAT, GNT (before they mooned), and FUN for this dang coin.
