3 days mined and nothing
you weren't using a pool
what is the best pool?
Ive been mining (at my work pc so for free) for 3 days on nimiqchain pool at abround 2kH/s
But the pool only has around 100kH/s average and mined only one block in those 3 days.
I can only use webminers as I cant install anything at my work PC.
EOY prediction?
beeppool, manual registration and payouts but they have the best mining clients and shit just works unlike other pools.
Conservative estimate is $0.10 USD, so it'll probably hit $0.50 because crypto is funny like that.
These guys scam you into solo mining. Hey just click mining you will totally get coins solo mining vs the world! Another shitcoin
Gpu mineable or only for poorfags?
CPU only my dude, network hash would be over 1gh/s if GPUs could mine
the fuck
nobody forces you to solo mine
and the official site miner is turning into pooled mining within the next week or two
>beeppool
thx user just started mining and it consumes less energy for more hash (2kH compared to 7,5kH) and in 10 minutes I mined 1NIM.
thanks user, already mining it.
early calculations point at 700 NIM a day or 7 NET, which is trading at $1.3.
Not bad at all.
I have 1600. Am I going to make it?
Skypool gets the best hashrates.
>Jow Forums says sssshh when posting threads about it before
>now discusses it quietly
I can feel the moon rising.
Is it more profitable than TurtleCoin?
It is more accessible than TurtleCoin.
> more accessible
What do you mean by this?
Official pools in browser miner and phone app in the works.
Internet based blockchain, syncs in seconds through your browser.
Every normie can easily use it. It takes 3 minutes to start mining. Now it's all about making it cute, but they're laying low on marketing before the product is fully community tested. We're basically in an open beta.
What exchanges is it on?
>Internet based blockchain, syncs in seconds through your browser.
Turtle has remote nodes, and the webwallet is just leaving beta
> in browser miner
That sounds terribly inefficient.
>Every normie can easily use it.
This is meaningless, normies won't ever mine crypto
>What exchanges is it on?
None yet. The devs are working on other things. Also, they probably wanna take their time and get a deal with a proper exchange. I think one of the team has contacts within Binance.
>That sounds terribly inefficient.
It's about a third of what you can put out with a desktop miner, but not bad for showing the basic concept of it to other people.
>normies won't ever mine crypto
Normies will do anything if it's free, easy, cute, and harmless. I can especially imagining this catching on in East Asian countries since they have an obsession with phone stuff.
80k reporting. Need atleast 200k to pajeet tier make it
$1 EOY 2020
$10 if Tokyo Olympics go as expected.
>None yet.
Its a year old, what's the hold up?
> I think one of the team has contacts within Binance.
Yeah, yeah sure they do
>Normies will do anything if it's free, easy, cute, and harmless.
"Why are my fans going crazy user, why is my laptop burning me user."
Also, they will never get a payout, the webminer is solo mining.
I might throw some hashes at this, but as far as I can tell, it is less profitable than turtle.
>Its a year old
Actual mainnet was launched a couple of weeks ago.
>the webminer is solo mining
Webminer pools coming this month.
>Actual mainnet was launched a couple of weeks ago.
It was about a week ago
Whats the deal with the olympics? Gooks gonna shill as ‘the’ payment platform?
Early April.
If the phone app is a success, which knowing the devs there's a good chance it will be, then the Nips will adapt it. Then it will get global coverage during the 2020 Olympics.
how do we set the uv_threadpool_size? i tried to enter it as it is into the terminal but it doesn't work and it just auto sets to 3.
>UV_THREADPOOL_SIZE=12 ./miner --xxxxxx
that's what i did
UV_THREADPOOL_SIZE=12 ./miner —miner=12
lol wow that actually worked. thanks, m8.
The whole mining in browser thing is simply a feature, it's just here to display how easy to use is the whole thing, people tend to overfocus on it for some reasons and don't see the big picture.
Overall the fact it's written in js with an in-browser wallet syncing in seconds makes it super easy to integrate for all websites.
It's a good coin for once trying to really make a step forward in terms of user friendliness, the team is quite competent too from the code I reviewed, they really built the whole thing from scratch so I'm confident they will be able to build whatever they plan on top of it.
Pools are already here, it's a matter of days before they are in the web server. Also by default the miner turns on half of your cores I think.
Any price predictions for NIM?
Pls respond.
pls respond
fucking n0rmies
pls respond
pls respond
pls respond
On which pool should I mine this?
Skypool gives me the most H/s but the pool is pretty much dead.
pls respond
The Beeppool client gives me half the H/s compared to other clients
p-pls
on Linux? Win client is shit.
Yeah, I'm running the 0.4 client on linux.
30k NIM chad here, not fucking selling til I get 1BTC for my stack
It gives me the exact same hashrate as skypool.
Nevermind senpai, I forgot to increase the threadpool
Why is beeppool better then? if you get the same hashrate.
I got the same hashrate, don't know for other people.
Also skypool shat the bed recently with their 2.0. so they lost a lot of miners.
Beeppool is decentralized too so even if it has the biggest hashrate it can't really mess with the transactions.
Because Beeppool has the highest hashrate, they are able to solve blocks faster. This means you will get nim more frequently.
Skypool just released hashrate improvements specific to the CPU you're using in conjunction with their miner. I've seen a 25% increase across all my miners.
So you get paid more even if your hashrate is lower with beeppool?
I get 9-10kh/s with beeppool but about 12-13kh/s with skypool.
Should I mine with beeppool or skypool?
You get roughly the same amount but since Beeppool gets more blocks it's more consistent.
The new 1.1.3 miner improvements for specific CPU architectures have seen a 25% increase. Won't be long before people kick over to Skypool. They go for the hashies.
Solo mined a whole block of this (4400 NIM) with an i7 4770k doing maybe 5kh/s
get on my level
That's super lucky, literally 0.0008% chances to happen every block.
you needed to be in their discord to know to mine in a pool when they launched. Their main attraction was their browser miner and it ended up being your worse choice. Everything else is better than what the official team offers.
skypool is a mess. Been minin with them from day 1 but after the attacks they havent been able to get their shit together so I moved to beep.
./miner --miner=THREAD NUMBER HERE --wallet bla bla bla
Stop bumping this premined shitcoin thread, sage
no
Blub is a god. We can all thank him for our future gains, hail blub o/
Fuck the scammy chinks behind the skypool hashrate robbery. Never touching sky again
I just wanted a price prediction bro, but nobody answered me.
