Is hydreigon in german hythreegon?

That is implying the German translations are good and consistent with the English ones. I know at least that the Spanish translation is pretty bad. Why can't they let another team handle the Latin American version at least?

The Spanish translation isn't bad anymore. Since gen V, it's passable.

Kapuno=Deino
Duodino=Zweilous
Trikephalo=Hydreigon

>tfw you viscerally cringe whenever someone says deeno zwaylous or hydraygon

You could play it 100 times and not learn anything, you can't learn a language by looking at.

it will only work if you replace the battle theme with youtube.com/watch?v=H0ylRi7IgRc

Try duolingo
Das Mädschen isst einen Brot

>you can't learn a language by looking at
that's literally how I learned english tho

I don't think you understand what I meant by looking.

You have to have a basic level of understanding to even be able to read a language. Vocabulary, syntax, grammar, context, conjugation if it has it. So it really depends on what your native language is and how many English speakers are in your country.

If you don't know a bit of Arabic and spend years staring at the Arabic script you will learn nothing. However if you move to an Arabic country you will eventually catch on if you are actively engaging with the native speakers. THEN they will be able to teach you how to read and write.

I literally learned English by playing Pokémon and listening to 'murrican music.

The second verbs comes last since haben is a modal verb.

I'm a native speaker and I tried studying the german language at university. Emphasis on "tried"

I can't imagine how hard it must be for non-natives...

Hi, /v/.

Fuck sake mod.

This was a /vp/ thread

Why do they have their own board anyway?

PC Games are actually a good way to learn.
I took a couple classes and did Rosetta Stone, but playing Civ4 in Deutsch definitely helped my command.
