More summer stuff like staying outside. Like drinking in terraces, hanging around in beaches (our beaches suck big time btw) and those kinds of things. Also people will be in lighter attire when they are out and about.

At the highest levels it's around 50% income tax directly. I think I read somewhere that the total taxation level is over 40% after you take into account all the tax/pension payments/product tax you pay when you spend/everything else. On the other hand that's the price for a welfare state, which works pretty well, although it can't handle mass immigration. The goverment seems to have decided to get rid of the welfare state little by little instead of curbing mass immigration from the worlds poorest regions. For the life of me I can't see what's their angle, it would be even more unlikely that they would actually be naive to the fact that the system just can't handle that.
