How can japanese anons even sleep?
How can japanese anons even sleep?
That's normal
I imagine they're like the USA: air conditioning in every home.
Plus the ocean's breeze.
They live in a 1st world country where every room has fancy ACs and don't rely on shitty electric fans blowing air into them like I am right now.
"ocean breeze" has to disappear pretty quickly in a town trapped by commieblocks that go 20km into the inside
>Europe has no air conditioning
This is just a meme, right? Like how we say Americans microwave water?
Gods punishment for an*Me
>Europe
>first world
pick one
Mediteranean countries obviously have them.
The rest, dunno.
You have an idea how expensive electricity is here?
Our great leaders had the bright idea to subsidise photovoltaics in a a place that is overcast 90% of the time and get the money back from raising average Joe's bill, large companies of course exempt from that extra tax which makes it even higher for the commoner per capita
Most of western-Europe doesnt have AC, just like most of you people don’t have central heating systems
I have AC but I only turn it on one or two nights a year (the really unbearable ones) because electricity is ultra expensive in this shithole
We use fans
no one sleeps in tokio
Japan’s summer climate is harsher than Africa, because of the humidity.
Historically, most of Europe had fairly cool summers; just twenty years ago, 30 degree weather was a rare occurrence that would last a few days at most. In our normal climate, central heating is necessary, but air conditioning is essentially a waste of money.
Nah, warming doesn't really happen at a rate that you could feel on your own...
it's really all about AC being too expensive
the highs are not getting much higher, the difference is the average high is getting higher and higher
>78% humidity
Yeah still, maybe by 1°C (also true for extremes, 39 to 40), which doesn't really make the "jump" from "don't need" to "need" AC
I'm inside, it doesn't matter how hot it is outside.
You absolutely do feel it. Here in Czechia, pretty much all heat records were set in the last 10 years; meanwhile, record coldest temperatures are 100 years old or older.
