The clothes really throw me off

>Dubya of all people is immortalized in statue form in a foreign country
I don't even get what he has to do with Albania, the ones they have of Clinton are at least understandable.

In New York theres a statue of the guy who liberated Argentina Peru and Chile

they have a whole square named after him in Warsaw. They transliterated his name to Polish, so say hello to the first President of the USA, Jerzy Waszyngton.

My city has a statue of Abraham Lincoln.

Same reason there's a statue of Charles I at Charing Cross

You over-mythologise the revolution a bit. We don't really get that worked up about it

This is so polish lmao

They had no incentive to finish.

I really searched hard but can't find a single statue of a non german historc figure anywhere here.

Disapointing. We could have at least made a monumant for Truman.

Or Eisenhower for organizing the air bridge to Berlin.

Sad desu.

>why would you immortalize the man that humiliated you so much?
Except that's only how Americans choose to see it. Not only is it an incredibly minor aspect of our own history, we don't see it in the GLORIOUS AMERICANS BTFO OPPRESSIVE BRITISH EMPIRE way you do, we see it more of a proxy war between Britain and France where the anglos fighting on the other side had all the advantages and aid available to them.
We don't learn or bother to talk about the 'war' of 1812 either, where we actually humiliated you by setting your capital on fire and then kicked you out of Canada. It's very easy to control the narrative when the other side simply doesn't care to anywhere near the extent that you do.

US President Jeremy Corbyn?

Austria has a place called Mexikoplatz because we're best buddies.

KEK

what about the unknown rapist in Berlin?

Well that's just sad. You kinda got shafted.
De Gaulle has a much nicer square and statue.

>why would you immortalize the man that humiliated you so much?

>country occupied by US forces for 70 years and counting, have statues to that countries rulers

No shit. Conquest 101.

De Gaulle is far more relevant to your history so it makes sense.

Oh some russian soldier. Not even named. Just a war monument.
It's not a special remarkable Individual.

I feel our Nation kinda as ungrateful towards the people who did good to us.

Austria has a massive russian monument that is basically a teabag to the country.

Washington has nothing to do with modern America.

I bet ya a signed dollar that he would throw up after 5 minutes of seeing what America has become.

That's because you had a Habsburg Emperor for a few ears.

>I get that the Froggies are taking credit for helping us
Your country would literally if it weren't for them.

Fuck, I'm an idiot. This is what I meant: "your country would literally not exist if it weren't for them"
